Do you notice how he hooks his eyes on the interviewer throughout the whole question, never fidgeting, never looking away, never distracted at all? It was this characteristic that was so unnerving when you were talking to him personally, as I found. It was the one thing that got me hooked. Someone who would listen to my every word and engage with it.

      Same with me, Pauline.

That isn't "unnerving" its whats called common courtesy, something that is sadly lacking in 2019 across the board. Frank was a gentleman, something else which is sadly in very short supply in this day and age. Everyone always has to make a big deal out of something that isn't there to begin with, like calling common courtesy, "unnerving."

@@RSR423 the fuck is so courteous about being stared into with unbroken eye contact? I supposed it'd be even more courteous of him to breathe out his mouth while he did it?

It's sad that he died so young. I can't even imagine what this man would have done if he had lived 20 or 30 years more.

Mr Z relaxed if the person he was talking to was serious. Informed. Excellent interview.

I have always wondered who was making the sound effects... like the dog barks and/or Sam Kinison screams... From the footage I have seen, it seems to be Ed Mann... Any thoughts?

      largely Mann, triggering samples

Ironic to hear him talk about the importance of musicians getting along well, considering the unfortunate end of this band's existence. Quite good interview, otherwise!

The mothers were sacked on the spot without pay after just finishing a world tour- According to Frank and his manager they were in debt for tens of thousands of dollars - finally they agreed to let his bandmembers take whatever they wanted from the band's equipment. He wasn't very nice to his musicians and he payed them $200 dollars a week if anything. Weird guy.
