Suspension Upgrades & Guard Rolling on this VN Commodore with a 6.0L LS2 Conversion

  • We fitted up a new adjustable panhard bar to this VN Commodore then some new lowered shocks to get it ready for us to roll the guards and create a nice amount of clearance for the customers new wheels.

    back in 2002 i fit 255/17s in the rear, wasn't much clearance but it worked. was a BT1 VN V8 with FE2 suspension

      Nice work mate, having it higher would of helped for sure. FE2 is a good height. everyone wants them super low now and the creates a lot of clearance issues.

      One of the cleanest VNs we have come across the owner is very particular with how he wants things and it shows in the way the car presents. especially inside. the thing is like new.

      So far as far as brands in my experience id say whiteline make the best stuff. but in saying that its not like iv used all of them. pedders stuff used to be the best and its still great. but they sub out most of there products. so for example i bought full pedders coilovers, bushes, strut and sway bars for my rexy and the sway bars supplied were whiteline. i was happy about that though.

      Hey Mate, VZ 6L with a 4L60E (5.7L Auto) & Diff is a rebuild VN 5L diff with i think 3.9 LSD

      @@MrD1cefiro Iv got pedders in all my cars and like it. but never hurts to try other brands. just steer clear of any cheap stuff.

    How much was thsi 6l conversion would you know

      All in i think around $25000 ish tuned. with current market could be upto 30k. Engine, box, diff, wiring. cam, radiator etc.
