- Getting the liftgate to the proper level so we don’t hit our heads. Or break your tail light. Or lose your washers.
This will fall on your head if not supported when you take the old off. Or break your tail lights. Also you need to use your own hardware from the old ones.

I also did this job a few years ago and also banged my head. TIP: put a 6 foot ladder under the gate to support the weight while you are working.
2:54 doh! "I just learned that for ya", heh heh, thanks. Love your intro, btw.
Lmao thanks for learning that for me about "only 1 wont hold it" bub. I damn sure would've found it out on my own otherwise 😂😂

BTech Reviews 2000 SR5 4x4 231,459 miles.
Would have been more helpful if the camera was actually aimed at all the parts you touched so we could see it
I love the intro, thumbs up
This is the real test will it push it up with that back window down because that’s what I wanna know
I lost a clip too..LOL. Now you need to do the struts for your front hood.
Great video! What about the spacer on the top connection?
Have you towed your boat with the 4runner? If so how was it? Thinking of picking up a 3rd gen but tow a 17ft bass tracker every weekend.
Zachary Spriggs never have, if I did, it would be short hauls and only after I change the timing belt- its overdue.
@@JLeeChron Got it. Its only 10 miles round trip. Going to pick one up. Thanks!
Missing all of the top settings. How did you remove it from the top?
Yeah, but how are they "holding up" now, after 3 years? Thanks
Solid for at least the year -before I sold it
@@JLeeChron ok, thanks. I'm looking thru your other videos now cause I have older Tacomas and an 01 4Runner, which will soon need hatch supports.
How are they holding up now?
Are those oem rear taillights for the 02
Yes
@@JLeeChron thank you thank you !
Don't sell it bruh! Turn it into a sweet Wheeling rig.
