Getting the liftgate to the proper level so we don’t hit our heads. Or break your tail light. Or lose your washers.
This will fall on your head if not supported when you take the old off. Or break your tail lights. Also you need to use your own hardware from the old ones.

I also did this job a few years ago and also banged my head. TIP: put a 6 foot ladder under the gate to support the weight while you are working.
