This makes me feel quite a bit better about mine. Yours is nearly identical to what I want mine to look like, but I'm only a few months into ownership. The fact that it took you a year helps me realize I'm just getting started lol. Awesome rig
I would love to see some more of your videos on flipping / working on the older Toyotas. I very often go back and watch your 4Runner / Tacoma videos whenever I need inspiration to work on mine. Thanks for the great content!
I have the exact same vehicle to include paint. I spent $2000 on FB. Surprised the lack of rust on the frame. Moderate rust on the outside. Runs like new, except for the typical shimmy in the front end over 60MPH. This truck came from down south. You also removed the running boards. I did the same. Looks so much cleaner. That is kind of gutsy going off road before the sale. I stay away from flippers. Just look at how many vehicles they have listed.
Extremerecluse Fallows Some good finds out there occasionally. Im not a real “flipper”. Its not about $, but the enthusiast/ hobby aspect. Although there is potential to make a few dollars, if a person at least improves what he buys and then moves on. Id still like to find a low miles/southwest.
Buying a used Toyota is almost never a bad idea. Almost. I’ve flipped countless and it hurts everytime because I love them but I never have the space to keep em all lol
I bought mine new. the 4wd flashing indicator has always been slow to engage and dis-engage, sometimes taking a minute or so. You just have to be patient.
Jorgito Perez. Yes, while driving along, its ok to press the 4WD button, just keep the speed lower than 60 mph while engaging-Toyota recommendation. I usually keep the speed way less though around 45 while pushing the 4wd button when needed. Thanks
CharlesTron108 cpl tips for you- Toyota fuel filter replacement. Run a few bottles of Chevron fuel injector cleaner... highway drive mostly when using - check Air filter clean/ new one. Clean MAF sensor. New plugs and wires if those don’t help/ throttle body clean.
Funny. In anticipation of the new Bronco Sport I've been noticing these ole 4-Runners again. Such nice rigs. 👍

AWD not 4WD until you use the high or low gears. (edit: looks like you correct yourself) I usually comment before going through the whole video.
