That rig surely stands out and you can rock it as good as anything. My favorite custom mod for my rig was a Tuffy Box it makes the whole quality fell of riding in a later model truck that much better an looks outstanding. A Tuffy box might save your life if you get pulled over with a pew-pew in your truck because it's a un-searchable area, consider that.
Its rare to see any late 80's model Cherokees usually alot of 4x4 guys are running the early 2000 models but once in awhile I'll see a old survivor driving around
long time go i had jeep Comanche in mid 1990's it was black 4X4 .when i buy it it need a lot of work so i can drive it, i got it from a junk yard lol it did run it just need all new brakes stuff wheels was lock up and did some suspension work to, if i remember right i paid $800 and $1500 in parts , i drive it for 3 years and sold it for $2000
If you ever run out of gas it's your own fault with a gauge like that lol. Nice build. All that fiberglass would make me nervous. What adapter did you use to put the 300 to the ax15?
@CB Offroad Awesome thanks. I have a 300 that my dad and I always argue about what it should go in lol. The 231 has been fine tho. I like the ax 15 a lot and had mine rebuilt recently but it still catches in reverse and on a 1 to 2 quick shift. Guy said gears were good and now all new scychros so who knows. Glad to see a unique set up like that. Stroke that 4.0!!
They are definitely a classic! I’ve thought about changing mine for a smaller one to make the cab space a little bigger but I can’t convince myself to get rid of the classic!
There's trucks are just so Badass. I love the look of these trucks.
That's a good looking MJ.
I still can't get over how much I love your Comanche!
Hot Damn - Nothing Like a Clean & Wide Comanche 🔥🔥🔥
Thank You Conner for that walk around, for being "unscripted" you did well. Great vehicle.
I feel nobody can love and appreciate that extraterrestrial truck more than me.
I thought I recognized your Jeep, it’s the Barnes 4wd cover Jeep!! Love the Comanche and Barnes 4wd parts!
That thing has fenders front and rear!? Good to see you making videos! Your Comanche is an amazing rig. One of my favorite off-road vehicles!
Front and rear?! 😂 I forgot about that

Awesome, very informative video!! Thanks for the shoutout 🤘🏼
Looks like the currie steering! What I have. Sweet rig dude!
That’s what I figured, thanks!
Great rig and an even better dude! Nice work in the video 👍🏼
I think Barnes should sell that rear bumper as a premade, bolt on. I'd buy one!
Great looking truck

Love that front bumper.
Thanks! It's definitely held up well and is a different look than most XJ bumpers.

Get rid of the KC lights. Whoops you love them never mind. Cool truck

Keep up the content your truck is my phone background and has been for while now. Gives me ideas for my mj
That’s awesome, thanks for the kind words!
Nice RIG,
Thanks 👍
You think I can fab the bumper onto an xj? It looks sick
I was lookin all over this thing at the open house 😅
thanks!
That's a sick comanche bud. Perfect amount of utility and style. Excellent build! Is the tj 44 the same width of the factory D30, wm to wm?
Yes it is 👍🏼
Nice looking truck. Do you recall what you paid for the 44 and 8.8?
@@benjaminreinhardt259 I think roughly $2600, it was a steal!

Yeah I don’t have much of an excuse do I 😂 it’s the clocking ring that Midnight Metalworks sells.

Hello I was wondering what bolt pattern the method wheels are? Are they Wrangler Jl 5x5 with a 5x4.5 to 5x5 adapter/spacer?
Thanks
Hey there! They are a 5x4.5 to 5x5 (jk pattern)
What did the t-case run you?
What Tonneau cover did you use?. I think you said GMC Canyon? What model year?
It’s for the 2004 body style.
What kind of paint is on that bumper? That looks pretty sweet.
It’s black rustoleum hammered. It says black on the can but it’s definitely grey lol.

Lol it looks goofs though. Pretty cool to have connections like that to help out for something ya enjoy.
It’s pronounced CoreBo. Very nice rig
website for the fenders
How are the 4.10s gears with 37s?
pretty good actually. I think if I had an AW4 auto trans I wouldn't like them as much. But with the 5 speed it's not bad.
no frame stiffeners?
Nope! Haven't seen that I need them yet.
I wish there was a company that made an adapter so that I could use the 3 spoke steering wheel on my 96 cherokee
They are definitely a classic! I’ve thought about changing mine for a smaller one to make the cab space a little bigger but I can’t convince myself to get rid of the classic!
@@cb.offroad no man leave it alone....awesome rig man.
How does it do on the road with the 37s and 4.10s?
I think it does fine. But I do have a 5 speed. Might be too high for an auto. Not sure 🤷🏼♂️
I definitely would go 456 or 488 with 37’s and auto. I didn’t and the auto over drive is useless on any hill.
