Some idea's for this "Entire History of" series: LAX (both versions), Alexander's title reign, The North title reign, Taya's title reign, Aries last run, Eli Drake in TNA, Lucha Bro's et cetera
Even though Sting should be a great hero in stopping Immortal and saving TNA from their clutches, I’m truly grateful for former president Dixie Carter that she had to take the ultimate responsibility of allowing things to happen for Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff to form their own group and rule over TNA as a company, for she never knew trusting those people she believed in could lead to her downfall.
Had nothing to do with it. Eric and Hulk were great in TNA. Dixie was the problem, not them. This is backed up by former employees, such as Velvet Sky.
@namikstudios well the actual problem was Vince Russo he was so bad that Spike wanted him gone and Dixie told them he was but she lied to them and still was employing him and using his ideas. So yeah Dixie was a large part of the problem
The real reason for Impact's decline after 2012 or so was due to someone not seen in this video - Vince Russo. He was the reason TNA lost their deal with Spike TV. It had nothing to do with Hogan or Bischoff.
@@thelakeelsinorespecial1796 Russo had been working for TNA on and off since 2002. Same. I think the faction should have had a slimmer, better roster & if they promoted it more as a religious-style cult (similar to undertaker's ministry), it'd have worked.
Fourtune face turn and feuding with Immortal was a make up due to the original plan for Main Event Mafia returning as a face group backfired when Vince McMahon offered Kevin Nash and Booker T contracts to return to WWE. Main Event Mafia could have still happened with Sting, Kurt Angle, Scott Steiner joined by Rob Van Dam and Mr. Anderson to take on Immortal/Fortune
I think Tony Khan should have reached out to Anthem about footage for Stings retirement...even maybe had Sting appear on iMPACT! as a retirement tour...well maybe now he could but his video package missed out on 13 years of his career that they could have potentially utilized.
I always remember being quite excited when Hulk Hogan came to TNA in 2010. Sadly Hogan and Bischoff coming in was one of the worst things to happen to TNA, and TNA have never really recovered from the Hulk Hogan era to this day.
Totally false. Eric and Hulk were never the problem. It has been confirmed by former employees of TNA (such as Velvet Sky) that Dixie was the cause of their downfall. She got too greedy and self absorbed. The tipping point was allowing AJ Styles to leave. Also going behind Spike TV's back and working with Russo, who Spike TV were strongly against, was the reason they lost their TV deal.
I actually enjoyed the Immortal storyline but it seemed to lost direction after the Jeff Hardy incident at Victory Road. It started out strong and really liked the whole AntiChrist gimmick and persona and it had so much potential, but sadly it was short lived. Also, I liked how Sting was used in this angle. He was presented as a HEEL when he was actually a FACE, because he got suspicious behind the agenda of Hogan & Bischoff for plotting to steal Carter's company.
Just something weird, is it me or did others not think that was Kurt Angle? Not only doesn’t look like him but doesn’t even sound like him. The Kurt Angle of start i mean. Im so happy he found his happiness and now looks and sounds like his throwback self, Kurt Angle Rocks!!!! 💯🤘🏼
