Great video, I used Grailed but have been wanting to transfer to depop, things are a little different but this video seems to clear up some of my questions, thank you
I dabbled with depop a while ago cleaning out my closet and sold 5 items; I want to take on selling full time and this motivated me to continue and resell in hopes to become full time. I posted some thrifted goods a few days ago, took them down and used tips from the video , changes titles, descriptions , tags and took better photos. It seems to be attracting more & Do you think boosting your items are worth it?
great video man, if you dont mind me asking- how many items would you say you list on average? like daily or weekly.. and also do you try to post on certain days? I find that if i list on Friday or Saturday night I tend to get way more sales quicker compared to if I posted on a tuesday afternoon or sumn. thanks boss
if you change it to a background (ex. what i use rn, orange) would sell rates still drop? dont have access to concrete, use kitchen floor and lighting. thank you!
As long as your pictures are clear and have good lighting it shouldn’t make too much of a difference, I just use concrete and natural light because that’s what I’ve noticed works best for me
Hey man thanks for the great tips. It’s really interesting to hear from a full time depop seller. I’m full time primarily on Poshmark and eBay but have found some success on depop so I’m always curious how to grow it. Do you “bump” your listings/refresh them? How many do you list per day?
How do you handle the package size through pirate ship. Do you have to input each package measurements and weight, or do they have an option like depop where u just input its weight? Cause I’ve found when using other sources than depop it takes forever to get all the info for them
When you photograph in "natural light", do you mean direct sunlight shining on the item? Or, do you mean indirect outdoor lighting? (I hope I explained my question OK)
i did that recently and my followers went from in the 100s to 700s and i made 5 sales since start of august which ik isn't much but i was selling 1-2 things a month at most so it's a bit of an improvement
can you show the packing process for your depop items

I’ve never boosted my items, so I’m not sure, but I definitely don’t think it’s necessary
I boosted my items and sold 10 items in the span of 2 weeks

I have issues with people making offers and then I accept the offer and they never pay..very aggravating! Has this happened to you frequently?
Yeah I get that all the time, I wish depop would make the offers binding.

I think the most I’ve sold in a week on Depop was about 15 items I can’t imagine 100+
i think to give a better quality of the video, (no hate at all i fw the grind) you should ease up on the robotish talk and talk more with expression.
what’s your depop username?
