God bless you brother, I'm about to graduate college and somewhat gave up on my resale business that I started a few years back. Watching this was motivating!
@llamaa6 you can, but with the amount of orders i’m doing i would never want to go and bring 15 pair of shoes to the counter and have them have to package them all up!
I'm in the same boat as you buddy! Grade 10 student running a reselling business, the difference being I sell electronics and stuff like that. Thanks for the video, it was cool to see someone else's process to this. Comment section is also insightful, guess I better invest in a thermal printer.
Aye bro PLEASE buy a thermal printer. I cut/taped labels for like 2 years and I didn't realize how much time/money it wasted. I got an opened box one for like $60. I've saved soooo much money already. Awesome channel btw, wish I did something like it at your age
Really just putting the money I earn right back into inventory. At the end of the month I do finances and see the profit I’ve made. I’ll take this money and make a deposit into a brokerage account so that it compounds with interest
I personally sell trading cards online on platforms like whatnot and ebay, I see you using a regular ink printer for labels. Investing in a thermal printer will save you so much time and money. I live in central jersey, and congrats on attending university in the city. Can't wait to see your future success
Appreciate that. Yeah so honestly it comes down to the tags (based on year) and the fabric. Older vintage stuff sells really well, and then linens in terms of fabric will also sell pretty quickly.
I noticed if you use a 3rd party for shipping you are not eligible for depops seller protection? Have you had any trouble with sales being refunded/returned or dealt with any scammers?
@@AsaFletcher okay thanks im trying to start selling but some of these things have been making me iffy about starting like dealing with scammers or bad and unsatisfied customers wanting to refund/return.
I would say it can depend on the photos and tags you use. I don’t sell any high end or things like Sp5der and stick to mostly Y2K stuff which 100% sells!

Best of luck if you do get it back up and running!
invest in a thermal label printer, no ink needed and no need for cellotape, just use a polymailer
I actually just bought one after filming the video haha
couldnt u just use the QR code for shipping

Yeah for sure! I actually just bought one for my dorm haha! Appreciate it
Where do you get your trading cards?
@@highlifeofskyngabs I go to local shows or buy them off facebook groups.
Great video! Just curious, how many listings do you typically do a day?
It depends on how much sourcing I get done but usually 10-15 per week
also this is a dumb question but when someone buys more than 1 of your items do you ship them all in 1 bag or still ship them separately?
All together and the buyer gets free shipping for purchasing a bundle
How do you look for on what to sell ? Fire video btw

Not any big issues

Yeah it’s all part of it, but my personal experience has been really good
How do you know what will sell? I tried listing sp5der but no sales
Sp5der oversaturated and too many fakes out there
I would say it can depend on the photos and tags you use. I don’t sell any high end or things like Sp5der and stick to mostly Y2K stuff which 100% sells!
@@AsaFletcher thanks bro
@wesleygaitan for sure!
How much inventory do you hold normally
As much as I can before things sell. Ranges from 10-40 garments/shoes
Is there any reason you don’t list on Mercari?
I prefer Depop because they just dropped there fees and that it seems more trendy, while Mercari has an older demographic
what does the pyro thingy help with?
Not sure what the pyro thing is that you are referring to?
