Wowe, triple the sales in one year is amazing! Cross-platform posting is super super helpful, I've even listed on Facebook marketplace and had a lot of success there :)
@@poppy7740 I thought the fee was including shipping though. That’s why you post things on POSHMARK for $10 more. Because even as a buyer on DEPOP you have to pay $10 more than the listing price. While when you buy on POSHMARK the listing price is all that you pay
@@poppy7740 On Poshmark, as a buyer, the listing price is all that you pay because the listing price already includes the shipping price. Where on Depop as a buyer you have to pay $10 more than the listing price. So on Poshmark you need to list for $10 more for the shipping🙇♀️ that’s why on depop I thought everything was cheaper than posh but it actually is not 😭
How long did it take to sell your first item? I've been on for a few days now and haven't sold anything, but I know a lot of people who have sold within the first 24 hours of selling.
i sold 3 items from my depop to someone irl and 2nd day i made 1 online sale. it's day 4 and i haven't made anymore sales, i try to post 3-6 times a day and constantly refresh my feed! those tips help a bunch
I placed an online order for something previously, and although it displayed the seller's information, it directed me to an unknown warehouse. I want to know if I can use another address as a seller because I don't want the buyer to know where I reside, or if I should just give the post office address?
Hi! Thanks for sharing this info! So helpful! 😊 Since you asked us to share our Depop shops.....mine is Lucky Rabbit Pickers. 🍀🐇 Thanks in advance if anyone checks it out! ❤
Great video as per usual. Since it’s tax time just thought I would ask you a quick question. Not sure if you ever done a video regarding taxes in Canada? Are you supposed to claim the income you make selling your own clothes? Or just the clothes you buy in order to sell?
I've actually been thinking about doing a video about taxes! I think that if you are just selling your own old clothes, you shouldn't have to claim it because you technically aren't making any money, just recouping some of the money you already spent on the item. But if you are running it like a business and are making money you should definitely claim it as income on your taxes!

Thank you! I've always thought about using Facebook marketplace! Do you use your personal Facebook or did you create a page?
@@AlyciaThrifts Just my personal! Its awesome because shipping isn’t in the equation
True! Good to know, thank you for sharing!
20% Poshmark fee is ridicolous. Not even worth. If i sell a tee for 50 i'm only getting 40 what a robbery
thats what i like about depop, it takes a bit but not alot, so many other platforms take so much!
@@poppy7740vinted takes nothing 🤷♂️

Thank you!
Congrats on your anniversary! 👏🏽💕 still kinda don’t know if I should tackle Depop because of pricing the shipping 😩
Thank you! And haha I mean you could always give it a try and see how it goes!

I can't remember but I think it may have been at least a week or two, it depends how much and what you are selling!

Poshmark is so annoying because u have to constantly refresh for a huge fee, and the app feels like it's from 2014 bc it is, annoying asf
Great info! Thank you for sharing.
Great video, you're amazing! sorry to be so ignorant, what does repost to refresh mean?
I mean edit and repost your listing so that it moves to the top of the search! Sorry I should have been more specific haha!
@@AlyciaThrifts thank you, that totally clarifies. you've been so kind and helpful!

Yes you can open a PO box at the post office!

So the 1st thing you did was not list on depop? 😅😅
Posting on posh does not help u on depop which is the title of this video
Hello, who can sell in the warehouse. Is it open to any country? Is the payment only via paypal? Paypal is prohibited in my country.
Congrats $$
so do you rely on depop as your sole income or do it on the side ?
I do it on the side! I don't make enough right now to be able to rely on it.
Great video!!❤
