He's such a great artist, and yet keeps himself humble. So many artists are so full of themselves and they make music only a fraction as good as Tame Impala
Im glad people are starting to realize that because people used to think he was like a one man auture who DOES EVERYTHING in the recording process without ANY help 🙄
It’s been such an amazing experience watching Kevin grow over the years. Although I’m oddly sad that tame Impala is not my little secret anymore. I miss 2010 ❤
Tame impala is always working on himself. It can be understood by his musics and personally I think this is the greatest artist for now. His music style is like a genius
so real... I always get carried away thinking about others, about the decadence of the world, of bad things, people, and that really makes you disbelieve in yourself, disbelieve in achieving or wanting to do it... but believe in yourself, just like Tame Impala, Dan Reynolds, Skrillex, Ryan Tedder, The Weeknd...
A while ago for the first time and it took some time, I've said out loud that I've genuinely been scared to speak up and about my ill decisions, including my dishonesty. It was very hard to begin that journey 😔 That's what she said 😂 seriously, I went back to my pad and pen mainly because the stroke had a different feel 😅 not gonna repeat what she said. It's almost like I could see even further once this happened.

Both of those are related to something that happened while working with them. What does that entail? They would criticize his beat or instrumental during the process? He wasn't outgoing in the studio with a bunch of them hanging out during the creation?
Btw, real artists like himself, their singing voice is very different from their actual voice. Most artists like this rest their vocal cords until they have to sing.

He didn’t abandon the style of music he first started off with. He just softened it for crossover appeal. He still has “ideas”. Just listen to multiple songs on his latest two albums instead of just listening to the songs that got him more “popular”.
@@fragileguyguy7226 I’ve heard EVERY tame Impala song put out even every song Kevin Parker has mixed , produced , performed on, I am a mega fan of his work and trust me his last album is a complete deviation from the first 3 the slow rush isn’t a bad album but it’ doesn’t feel like a tame album the opening track is sour (imo) and not in a good way the drums stay the same the whole time and the vocals at the very end are the only thing that makes it listenable when that saw pad synth comes in to close the last chorus it becomes OKAY , the second track is a repetitive but well produced and catchy piece of synth pop that I swear if not for the swirling end of psychedelic synths could’ve been a lady ga ga song ( I love ga ga ) which isn’t a a bad thing just not who I’d compare classic tame Impala with, the third song borderline breaks my heart it’s a lost Britney Spears song and the drums are so boring the vocal melody lazy the synths tacky and the bass is a mess the lyrical content is the best part of the song, posthumous forgiveness is a huge fucking mess the booming bass in the beginning with the dessert synth leads are awesome but the build is way to long leaving to much room for awkward spacing and dude I could keep going on for like 4 pages the album is a mess and it’s boring and it’s uninspired a solid 7.3 as an album but as a tame record it’s a shameless 4
@@gearlord1968 idk how you can call yourself a mega tame impala fan and not understand what the slow rush is. every tame impala album is basically a reflection of his life at the time, Innerspeaker is an album about him letting his inner self out, him as an introvert is finally given the creative liberty and financial liberty to express his inner feelings. Lonerism, his magnus opus, is an album about feeling lonely as he is in a failing relationship and is becoming famous for his music, while still feeling alone. Currents is an album about a breakup, a breakup with a person he was with for a long time, and who helped him create "Lonerism" and he expresses his feelings through that album. The Slow Rush is a reflection of the "slow rush" of time, an oxy moron as he reflects on how time feels slow yet rushes by you and you cant catch it. The album talks a lot about love, as he's finally found the woman to spend the rest of his life with. yeah it's not his greatest album, but if you're a tame impala fan "mega fan" you should understand where this album falls and what it means to him. To call it bad or trash is fair to your own opinion, but remember that he doesn't really care, it's all an expression of how he feels at the time

Imagine my shock lmao I didn’t even know he wasn’t from the u.s.
He always wanted to write songs for women pop stars but decided to just sing them himself.

British and Australian artists can sound more American English when they sing. I don't get it either.

Kind of contradicting to say “goat rn” bc “at” stands for all time and “rn” is right now
rn? You mean of all time. I forgive your mistake
i want to meet that man so bad just so i can thank him for making the best music i’ve ever heard in my entire life
Never seen tame impalas face thought it was going to be a biblicaly accurate angel
Love tame impala
Legend😌
He definitely was helped out immensely early on by Dave Fridmann (Tame’s former producer) and The Flaming Lips particularly Steven Drozd.
amazing producer, fridmann also produced for the flaming lips if I’m not mistaken

where is the credit from this interview??
😂 I don’t think Kevin likes interviews guys
ye i can understand why tho
He’s super socially anxious
All the best artists hate interviews
He’s pretty much saying have an ego
Hell yeah !! 😂
Make a collab with jungle. Honestly it would be insane
I open up to all my friends, but they just use me, alot
That and don't let Kanye near twitter

I thought he was being interviewed about working with Dua Lipa.
Its weird most people dont see how primitive the western music system is, music theory will be good for the first time within a few years
Hollywood leaching off him
Hold up.... tame impala is just one dude???? I thought it was a band.... wow, that makes the music even more amazing that it's one dude doing all that
