That sucks. I did just as you showed and i still got nothing. I guess my smart tv is too smart or my PS2 just gave up.
What I did is I bought a cheap HDMI av audio and video amplifier . It plays in 720 and up to basic HD and had 4 HDMI ports , 2 av ports the regular ps2 connection , line in connections to add other equipment . Thinking mine costed about $4 plus cost of speakers .
correction it actually had a coaxial cable input jack not the two av jacks so I added a vcr and just connected to vcr through the line 1 or line 2 channel on the vcr . There are 2 av connections on the vcr that's what I meant .
How about DVD movie or PS1 games?
HELP! Is there a model/s that don't work with this? Have a 30001 and it doesn't work, every other output works YPBPR, AV, S video but this adapter will not work on that especific console. Have other 2 of this adapters none work on this one PS2. Have another 2 PS2 other fat and other slim both work perfectly with all adapters so may be the console? Thanks for any support, cheers!

My resolution of my ps2 slim in our 1080 tv is kinda blurry. Does this fix my problem? Like make it sharp??
@TerranStriker thank u! I was going to buy it but yeah lol
I bought it. I have done all of these but it is still not working. The TV says no signal 😑
Did you get it working? Mines doing the same. The seller said that it doesn't work with all Samsung TVs, but mine isn't Samsung.
I spoke to the guy who sold me it and figured out the problem. You need to go into your PS2 settings, and change the video from RGB to Ypbcr. If you don't have an older TV you can connect it to to change the settings without hdmi, I'm sure you could look up a video of the settings so you can change it blind.
@@Jake-nl3er thanks. It worked.
