This was my first Neil young concert. Attended with my close friends from chaminade. Still one one the greatest concerts I ever attended. We are blessed to have such an artist among us who still keeps it real even in 2024.

Yes, I was at this show. It was my first Neil Young concert, and I went only because I had huge crush on a girl who was a huge Neil fan!!
I was SO blown away, that I became a lifelong fan.
Now, as the years went by, I’ve gone to as many Neil Young shows as I could…
I’ve seen Neil 27 times, solo, with Crazy Horse, with CSN, with Promise of Real…
That girl, Kris, went and married some other guy, but, today, Oct 23, will always stick in my memory as the most awesome night (concert and otherwise)…. also, my birthday is a couple days from today. Back then, celebrated being 25 years old. Now turning 70!

Time flies for us Neil fans.....saw him on Rust Never Sleeps tour like it was yesterday....now I'm 65! Been a Neil fan since 1969........" There's very few of us left my friend from the days that used to be"......
Neil was top of his game in this era, but you can easily argue that he's been at the top of his game his entire career. The output of material during this time seems to be appreciated by a wider audience. Great job Neil and Crazy Horse!
_Powderfinger_ is such an amazing song. Neil wrote amazing songs in the 1970s, they seemed to flow out of his mind from some cosmic place.
I was there! I was 18, one of my first shows.
Amazing how much of this set was brand new to the audience - Rust Never Sleeps (mostly recorded live) didn't come out until 1979. First time I heard Powderfinger was live - that's a little mind-blowing.
I was there. 20 rows up from the stage right. My ears are STILL gloriously ringing. Have seen Him 7 more times since. Legend. Many thanks for this!

great memories of seeing Live Rust at the midnight show in our local theatre with a young excited tripping audience in a popcorn fight through the haze of smoke, lights and the crazy power of their music. I still feel that!
