Yeah, I do a lot of woodworking (my other channel is called Vintage Wood Workshop) and I still use inches because I've grown up with it and think in terms of US customary units no matter how much metric I use teaching my science classes. Metric makes more sense and is easier but I doubt we'll ever change in my lifetime in the US!

seconds would be the base unit and "m" stands for milli, so you would move the decimal three places to the right
