    You’re right, this song was written by Rodney Crowell. I believe it was first recorded by Emmylou Harris when Crowell was a member of her Hot Band. Her lead guitarist at the time, Albert Lee, also recorded a beautiful version of this song. I’ve loved this song since the 1970s. Thanks for this lesson.
