You are so right! At the time of this video I hadn’t really worked with it 😂 I definitely need to post some updated videos using UV!! Thank you for your comment 🫶🏼
So cute! I like the medicine cup idea to elevate them. It seems like it might keep the resin from blocking the little hole for the keychain which I have trouble with lol
The alcohol ink doesn't crack the acrylic? Alcohol is a big no no for acrylic. I've ruined a lot of stamps and tools cleaning with alcohol. It will crack acrylic, so I've been afraid to try this...

@@Sellinmomma you can definitely use either or! I don’t have a good UV light so I just typically use regular epoxy. But Uv Resin would work for this as well!
I can do a packaging video! But I just tissue paper to wrap them pretty and then use cellophane baggies to put them in, then bubble wrap and a poly mailer!
Granted, this is a video from almost 2 years ago when I first started making tutorials.. I probably should have said Epoxy Resin. The kind that goes under a UV light is called UV resin. Two very different things. But both can be referred to as resin. At the time of this video, I didn’t use UV Resin at all, or even fast set epoxy. Also, in the description it does say epoxy resin.. with the brand I used, along with the PPE. Hope this helps. Happy crafting!
#subscribed. Beautiful! I'm receiving my acrylic blanks I ordered from Amazon today. And I am going to be using this technique on some of them.Mahalo for the great tutorial🤙 Aloha🌺

Great video! You make it look so easy! Those are beautiful! What is the thing you were putting the acrylic on with?
Thank you!! I just used some painters tape and a medicine cup, to elevate the acrylic blank, and make it a little easier to work with :)

I’ve never had an issue, and I’ve been making keychains this way since 2017!

What size acrylic rounds are you using
These were 2” circles!
Resin or epoxy????
This is artist resin or epoxy. Not UV resin. :) hope this helps!
@@southernbellesips what’s the difference? Is it just your preference? I have been using UV resin
@@Sellinmomma you can definitely use either or! I don’t have a good UV light so I just typically use regular epoxy. But Uv Resin would work for this as well!
How much would you sell these for?
I usually just give them as gifts ❤️
❤️ Lindo ... amei 🇧🇷
How do you package these?
I can do a packaging video! But I just tissue paper to wrap them pretty and then use cellophane baggies to put them in, then bubble wrap and a poly mailer!

you say resin...is that actually epoxy? resin goes under a UV light. Epoxy takes 8 hours to dry
