What a wonderful tutorial!!!!
I need those little spoons and that UV light!
🎉I just found your site, and enjoyed the video. Wanted to tell you that you have a very nice voice. 😊
Thank you so much for the compliment and for stopping by.
This was really helpful - thanks! 😊👍🏴
That’s a great tip, to use all of he resin on other items. Thank you

Hola! 🤩
✨ New subbie! ✨
Thank you for joining me.
@@FickleHobbyist thank you for making awesome videos. 📹🎥
Lovely,I just got a started kit for my teen practice during the summer vacation, she loves the stars, did you incorporated it with the glitter
mixture or added it on top of the resin
You can do it either way! I like to stir it in but you have to do it gently to avoid getting bubbles.
Can you add the brand of resin in the comments? The link no longer works
Beautiful ❤. You have a new fan. Where is a best place toget the vinyl from? And what is ge best uv resin to use.? Thanks😊😊😊 Lisa
Thank you so much! I actually get vinyl at a local store but the brand I've been enjoying the most is the Siser brand. So far I've only used the one bottle of UV resin that I linked in the description, only because I end up using such a small amount for each project. I've been really happy with it, though.
Great video! I made my first keychain yesterday and I was wondering if you have any tips to make it feel more "finished"? It's dry, but has a slight sticky feel that I'm not loving.
I find that of its still a little tacky just putting it under the light for a bit more can help. You can also try rubbing alcohol.
Can you show me how you made the decal please. ??
The previous video making the decal is listed in the video description. 😊
How do you keep your silicone mat clean? Mine is horrible with glitter on it. I can’t figure out how to clean it.
If I spill resin on it, I put the lamp over it to cure it and it pops right off! If you don't want to do that, you can use rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball while it's still wet. For things like glitter, I use a big chunk of packing tape to pull them off.
Hi! Enjoyed your tutorial. I usually use fine glitter but I like the way yours sparkles. What kind is it? Chunky?
The silver glitter is just plain old craft glitter you'd find in the toddler craft section. It isn't labeled as such, but I would say look for chunky if you want that size.
Thanks for sharing, but I have a problem with the Uv resin, after it cures it still feels sticky 🤔
I've noticed on particularly humid days my resin can be a little sticky after curing under the light. Usually, I will set it on the windowsill to get some sun and after a couple hours it has hardened up. Let me know if that works for you. Alternatively, you can use a cotton ball with some alcohol to rub the sticky surface. It will remove the stickiness, but sometimes it dulls the shine just a little.
Another issue could be too much mix-in in the resin. I have added too much powder pigment before which made the resin impermeable to light and as a result, it didn't cure. If you think that might be the case, pull back on what you are adding and instead do thinner layers to build up the color or glitter.
Can you use UV nail lead lamp to cure the UV resin? Thank you.
That's what I use! You just need to check the instructions on your resin to see how many watts it requires to cure properly.
@@FickleHobbyist thank you hun
nice
Quick question. 🧐
Where did you get your silicone mat?
I'll be honest, I've had this one for as long as I can remember so I can't link to the exact one, but I know they have them on Amazon. :)
@@FickleHobbyist I’ll give Amazon a look see. Thank you for responding. ☺️
Super ! Avez vous un lien pour commander les cercles en acrylique ?
Merci beaucoup
Yes, the link is in the description. 😊
Ciao you usés paper transfer?
I'm not sure I understand.
Hello Just wondering where you got the black paint strokes image from?
Hi Karen. Please visit the previous video linked in the description to be directed to the blog post. Request access to our free resource library to download the SVG file.
How to print that name? What do you use?
Check out the first video for this craft here: ruclips.net/video/jbLh2GcJWSg/видео.html
The font used for the name is called Beach and was one that I had previously downloaded to my system.
My name is Jocelyn ♡♡♡
Hey there! Thanks for this video. I’m about to embark on this, but one quick question, I did my first one in the garage and it started curing before I was done spreading, could that be because I was getting UV from the sun?
Does it cure evenly?
Yes! As long as you keep your layers thin and without too much pigment it cures really nicely. I've noticed issues when I put too much mica powder in it and the light can't penetrate.
@@FickleHobbyist ok thank you.
Todo muy bien y hermoso.
Pero que tontería más grande el grabarlo en inglés y luego el subtítulo también en inglés sin ninguna otra opción.
Por ese motivo no me suscribo.
Saludos.
I'm sorry, I don't speak Spanish or any other language, therefor creating captions is beyond my ability at the moment. Is this something that creators readily do, translate into all possible languages?
