What about a usb powered dac? So when you switch with kvm sice the dac is usb it should recognize it on the system you're currently using. And connect the headphones to the dac
Does someone knows a good kvm switch which supports blocking USB ports and just switching one out of two monitors. TESmart seems to be the only company which produces such switches. But they are actually a bit too expensive for my budget.

Just don’t connect the usb devices to the kvm. Connect them to the computer you want to and not the “blocked” device
