Love how calm and respectful you are and appreciate your parents helping ❤
This is truly incredible. Didn't know it was a thing, yet I am a contractor for a digital printer company. It deserves hundreds of thousands of views :)
I was thinking the same!! This does deserve a lot of views!!
I love the sheen on the silk! Btw for other folks reading -- if you're doing this project please mind your mordants: cellulose (plant based, cottons, rayon etc) fabrics are generally a bit trickier to bind colors with. Ppl generally use just alum but I didn't find it satisfactory for my fabrics so I use alum acetate (1:1 mix of potassium alum sulfate & alum then chalking) rather than the lengthier tannin process that most ppl recommend. Protein based fabrics like 100% natural silk or wool are easier to color with. Also rather than boiling iron pellets you can opt to bulk buy additives like ferrous sulphate powder (darkening agent) or chalk (makes your colors more vivid), they're relatively cheap
The baby shows so much pride helping you- good job mom❤
This looks like such a fun project! I plan to try it. Next year when the leaves are changing colors here in the mountains of the Carolinas, I plan on dying enough for a slip top, pants and cocoon style jacket. I think the reds, yellows, oranges with a splas of green will be perfect. Then I'll use the leftovers to cover a pair of strappy heels. You've got to have the right artsy shoes.
as if it was prepared for a princess. perfect, natural and very beautiful. it was really nice. health to your hands.
Stunning, Im excited to try out the iron tablets 🙏🏽

Wow!!! would this process work on a cotton blend too?
Beautiful! I’ve been experimenting with bleach designs on cotton clothing. Definitely gonna give this a try!
Wow this is amazing! I'll definitely be trying this so thank u for sharing!
Absolutely gorgeous! How can I care for this item after? Must be hand washed or possibly gentle cycle on cold water wash? Thank you so much for sharing!

Beautiful 😍

This Looks so Good!!😍😍😍
Hi Tracy, What kind of silk do you use? I am looking for the same type of silk that is flowy and it drapes.
Wow I would love to try.....
I love this! I am wondering if you can use this method of eco-dying for silk pillow cases?!
Is this process the same for wool? Do you soak the flowers as well?
Beautiful assistant
how delicate!
The iron tablets is the same that used in medical treatment?
Hi! I was wondering if you could use reusable plastic tarp instead of the saran wrap? or something like shower curtains?
I think that should work, you can also opt out of using wrap and use another piece of fabric and roll, then you get the front and the back prints of the foliage.
Can I dye cotton fabric following this same procedure?
Is it okay to do the steaming process on the stove?
Loved it! Thank you! 🌿
May I know the ratio of Iron powder and alum used for soaking the leaves?
do you reckon you could use this exact method but swap the natural elements with printed images....? trying to figure out how to print image to silk..
How long does this eco Colour lasts???
How long can the color last on the fabric though
Спасибо спасибо и еще раз спасибо!!!!☺
Do you use a certain mg in the iron tablets? Thank you
So beautiful! Can it be done on synthetic fabrics? Thanks
No only natural fibers, the tannins will only fix to those
❤
What type of silk is it
Ficou lindo 🤩 ... Abraços 🇧🇷
Hello Tracy this was so beautiful. What type of silk fabric did you used specifically?
Raw Silk Charmeuse
🌞🌞🌞
Hiii, i was wondering if you could post an update on fabric that has been eco printed a year later or even 3 months later so that we can see how the print may fade or wear over time? Thank you 😊
Hi in my new video diy prom dress, I used this fabric and you can see over fine not much fade to it at all
@@TransformationsByTracy thank you for replying! I’ll check it out :)
It would be cool to try a tree shape somehow
Can we do it without the plastic film?? Cause it is far from being eco !
Could not find you in Instagram
My handle is @transformations by Tracy
When you said to keep shiny side of fabric upside, I realised someone must have cheated you. Silk doesn’t have shiny or non shiny sides. Silk is same both sides and it’s never this silky. It’s shiny, but it’s never this silky, even the best degummed silk will never be this silky. Just sharing
Silk satin is shiny :)
This is mulberry silk,, it is this shiny.... You can look it up !!!
Какой же это эко принт если используется куча полиэтилена????
She mentioned to use biodegradable Saran wrap
Yes, it’s lovely. But you can’t call it Eco printing if you are using plastic. So much ! Why not use some old cotton sheeting?
