I’m a man I don’t shave my head head face or ass hair.
How did the R1 not make the list??
Have owned a 05 750 squid machine for 17 years, cannot kill it. The golden years for sporbikes
Where’s the big guy with the long hair ?
🔍
I love my GSXR 750! Chose it as a starter bike 😂 I don't regret it one bit!
No R1?! 😢 That bike was my childhood dream. Finally bought one when I turned 21
Dont pay too much attention to these lists if you enjoy your motorcycle own it. Be proud of it ^^
@@ZinoAmare there’s no shame in my love for the R1 - it’s justifiably a great bike… honestly I’m shocked the Monster (current bike) made it, i see it as more of a 90s bike
Yea that’s an Crime . R1s in the 2000s are damn near the best looking bike
Holy crap you are a Monster owner who as a child dreamed about the R1??? That's just like me ahah. Got a black/red 695. Planning on getting a 1st gen R1 next, been my dream bike since I got a toy version of it as a kid.
From this era I pick the 06 Yamaha FZ6. Cheap, got mine for $2700. Fast, 98hp before they were later choked down. And awesome looking.
I sold it before I got arrested or killed. 😢
Sweet bike. Did you have the fz6(n) naked or the faired version (fazer) And what did you get after the fz6?
@@A--lex Naked. Bought 03 Elect Glide. Then sold that too. 😢
Then bought 98 Softail Springer with apes. Great running bike. And sold my GS850GX.
I so regret selling these bikes.
the older fzs600 is REALLY common here and super cheap too!
I have to agree. I started on a Yamaha 950 bolt, then went to a Yamaha 1900 raider. Both of those were cruisers and the raider was damn fast for its size. But, I'm a short rider, and that bike was so wide that even with the extremely low seat height I still couldn't flat foot it with both feet. 750 lb is a lot of weight to hold up on your toes. I recently just sold that and bought the smaller more nimble Yamaha MT-07. That bike is no rocket ship, but it is a blast to ride. My buddy rides an f z6 and we swapped tonight and went on a ride. That FZ6 is something else. I absolutely love the sound of an i-4 engine screaming. And it had more than enough power to be fun. And he bought his for less than $4,000. I love my MT07, but that FZ6 at the price he paid was a hell of a bargain better than the one I got on my bike at $6,000 for a 2019.
@@christopher7310 if we’re talking about 600cc nakeds... I'm currently getting a Honda hornet 600 for like 2500$. And that's for the higher end lol
Aprilia RSV Mille rider here, bike is from 2001 but rides like a dream. Apart from soon-to-be-swapped stock battery (20 years old lol) it's a beast that just pulls with no hickup and corners immensely well. No wonder the Mille and the later 1000R held various lap records (Nurburgring etc) where other street bikes couldn't keep up. Oh and it's also very comfortable for a supersport, no sore knees or wrists, can ride it for hours. And best part; it costs 30-40% less than an equivalent Ducati, and half the cost in maintenance :D Awesome to see it on the list!
Got a 2003 Mille here, did a full rebuild, airbox mod, leovince sbk exhaust, and a tune on it making 131hp at the rear wheel, absolutd monster!
@@thomashaagsma7657 Pretty close specs, have the full Akra race exhaust on but I haven't done any extensive tune, so far don't feel the need xD It's such a beast, pull is incredible. Yours sounds mental
@@Real_MisterSir it is! First three gears are quite fun, almost instant wheelies when you are too harsh on the gas. I also got the -1 +1 toothsprocket update, so it is a fun machine. This bike is at 4.5k rpm on full NM's, and it runs linear until the revlimiter! A tune is really worth it!
a good, but under-appreciated, bike from the mid 2000s is the Aprilia shiver 750.. a fantastic naked mid-sized bike, with plenty of power, and the first ride by wire tech available on a production bike!
In 47 seconds, Yammie noob took me threw a whole time travel period of when I was younger in the 2000’s living my best KID life.😂
Mannn..talk about damn near spot on.😅👌🏽 . . . Ahhhh .. great times I tell ya.😌
Zx12R was unbelievable in speed and handling, might want to research it. Quicker than anything on that list
i got a buddy with one. he brought it for riding during winter, he doesn't want to get his h2sx dirty. i got his old k1 gixxer thaw as my first bike. just came from a ride, love the thing to bits!
Bruh 😂🤣😂🤣😂 the 2000's jokes... Chef's kiss 🤣 "Argue about who you're gonna live with after the divorce" 😂🤣😂🤣😂
ZRX1200R deserves a shout out. Had an '05; the second bike I wish I'd kept most; in first place was my '75 RD350.
So I have a 2022z650 would a Indian FTR be a good next move or should I got MT-10
Both the Ninja’s I’ve owned on this list back to back with my old Candy thunder blue 2005 Kawasaki Ninja 500R to the current 2003 Kawasaki ZX-6R B1636 (red).
Solid Choices Yam.
636....1000%
Love these lists I ride a 2009 FZ1. 85k full service records. Love this bike it's a solid all-round bike. Live in north jersey. Been to Canada down to Tennessee. And it is fast don't kid your self.
I owned an 09, traded it for a warrior to get back into cruiser life. Love the warrior but want another fazer. Awesome bikes.
I bought a 2009 Ninja 500R (my first bike) about a month ago so great to see it mentioned
It was my first bike too!
I had three Ninja 250's over the years, for a girlfriend and then a son. The Ninja 500 is the better choice, and as good as it gets for the smaller to average sized beginner rider, can't answer for the Shrek sized rider.
1098/1198/848 are the bikes that made me really want to ride, even though I grew up in a family of bikers
Any opinions on the Ducati 848 EVO?
I can’t find any good review on them
lol, I almost feel like you mentioned the blackbird for me 🤣
This video reminds me that Yam isn’t even 30 years old. He’s still a baby, man.
Lies
And only a few years riding yet call himself papa🤣
We need to stop infantilizing people. I'm a grown ass married man lol
@@frizike been riding for 8 years dude
Classic
Glad to see both my bikes were on here in some way haha. I own both a 2002 zx6r as well as a 2003 636
Cool asf dude
Wonder what the difference is between my ZZR and the ZX-6R?
My bike looks identical to the ZX-6R.
All ball's racing carb kit. Full D & D exhaust system. K&N air filter.
vortex gearing front and back
(Aluminum).
520 RK Gold O-ring chain.
2 weeks ago - I bought a GSX-R K4 750(same as the one on the cover of this video), now - this video comes out :D
I bought a 2004 Suzuki SV1000S for 40 000 Rand last year, it's a rare bike, but worth it. I'm very happy.
missed the first gen fz-1, for $2.5k on craigslist all day for a 145 hp carbed naked bike... its very raw experience
I've owned an 07 monster 1000 and an 07 1098, both are amazingly fun bikes. Monster in my stable currently, can't go wrong with an air cooled dry clutch ducati for a fun time.
Ahh yes, the infamous green and purple ketchup. The good ole days
“The great Olive Garden in the sky” LMAO
Oh ya! Ninja ex500. Been riding mine for over a decade. Fast enough and real inexpensive to own. Great bike 🏍️💕
these fake comment conversations getting out of hand
Personal favorites are the yamaha vmax and harley v rod but these are nice to :)
Great list my 2001 rsv mille R is my modern ride . Lol.
You can't beat the 05-06 ninja 636 . It's the earliest of the bikes that can look as good as new bikes today as long as it was parked in a garage all its life like mine lol plus it has more or the same horsepower as almost all these liter bikes on the list lol
The GSXR squid. I went to cars and coffee and there was a GSXR with his custom painted helmet right next to it. I thought i wonder who the owner is, he has to be obvious to find in the crowd. Sure enough, there he was with matching PJ’s and revving his engine like a lunatic when he left. I know it didn’t surprise me either.
If you do one of cruisers I think the Honda magna should definitely be on it
I got my 06 gsxr600 for $1300 with 16k miles, runs amazingly
I was like TF 2000ccs 😂😂😂.. what next stoplight sonic boom?😂😂
Sv650s k6 is the machine. Fuel injection = check. Lack of emissions etc = check.
Yammie noob can u make a vid on 125cc spirt bikes??
This aint a lawnmower channel
What do you think about the cbr 954rr 2003?
I’m bringing back the 2000s
Nineties were even better.
Nice video
Love the end
I actually just bought myself a 1999 Ducati Monster 900 for $2700 and getting it Tuesday!!
Not a bad list, I would have included the Yamaha fz1. Carbed or injected, one of the best bang for your buck bikes. Just avoid 06-07 models or at least avoid wheelies and hooligan riding…frame crack issues.
Since I'm one of the Euro boys, I started with 10 hours of slow speed and skill lessons after that getting 13 hours of road lessons both on a sv650.
Since than I have gotten myself a Kawasaki er6 N with 50hp on paper but it being the original 73 hp.
Now I'm stuck on this power level for another 1,5 years, nice time to learn the skills etc for a bigger bike in 2 years. Not necessarily looking for something Crazy since our Highway speeds are 100 kph (+-60mph) but I am looking forward to a bit more umpf when riding it.
What type of affordable bike would u guys suggest as a next step? Not really looking to get into the 1000 yet
bought an 2000's R6 for 2500€ some months ago, Its been a joyful, sometimes a bit scary, but always fun ride.
I think its a nice bike to drive fast, but you need to have the mind control to not kill yourself
@@askilino to be fair with 70 hp u are able to kill urself to, it's more about knowing ur own Limits.
But thanks for the advice
I bought my 03 dream machine this year for 2k, love it and ill never sell it. Tis a wonderful machine… but has some easy to fix teething issue and electrical gremlins to contend with but I wouldnt change it for anything…
I commented for a vid about the 90s bikes but I’ll settle for 2000s
Cbr 1100xx is my favorite 🤩 might be my forever ♾️ stead
Monster was my first bike and a 990 then 990r were the next two!
I’ll only own bikes from 2005-2010. Has great power compared to the older but also not as restricted as the newest bikes.
Yammie Noob was a Noob when I had already been riding for years! Who's the Noob?
Like the video but it was weird to put the horsepower and torque of some bikes but not the others plz include all the power figures if your going to mention some of them in a list video like this
I still use my 05 Gixxer 750 for a daily and my V4S for other endeavours.
I have an RX-KING that I bought used for $300. And it's an 130cc beast that can beat a tuned up 180cc Honda Revo by a mile
Suprised there are no Daytonas or SV650s in the list :D
def the ducati 1198 was my fav in the 2000s
respectable list had the 1098S and S4RS during that area but if you're gonna say the best of tht time & area you have to include the Honda Super Hawk and its big brother RC51 and the very respected and often feared 2004/05 ZedX 10R
CBR954rr all day for me best CBR built 2002-03
G'day Yam my man, am in Australia Oldboy...keep up the good work. Have you ever ridden a 954? Get your hands on one am sure you will be impressed.👍
Everybody keeps forgetting the real underdog of the early 2000s
The Suzuki SV1000 K3/K4 naked version - not the S.
Being a 996cc v-twin with 120hp it is the real Japanese Ducati Monster alternative.
Not to mention, everyone I spoke to, who had one, keeps bringing up that they regret selling it.
Nice👏
Yammie never shows any love for the Kawasaki zx12r.
2000 zx12r a1 green. 👍👍👍
I still have my ninja 500. Love it
Can't find this relics in my country except for the hornet
All those vtwins and no sv650, sv1000
I think the list is missing the RC51.
How are we not talking about the new Honda Hornet?!
No vtec VFR?!
2000-2002 zx6r 🔥
No V4s? Where is VFR 800?
This. VFR.
BMW K1200R Sport. Cost $4500. Had it for 4 years now. I can't complain, but I hope you never mention it please. I don't want the Yammi Nube Curse.
2009 Buell 1125r
Fun fact, my 2002 ZX6R 636 is red.
Sheesh views are down for sure. Feels bad man
I was waiting for the suzuki sv650. Heart broken.
Can you fo a videou about the kawasaki z800
It's a terrible bike
@@Thegiantbiker
What color is your z800😂😂
@@buzz6362 my ducati is white
@@Thegiantbiker and my zx6r is like you see here
White,black,blu
Cheak out the husqvarna fc 350
Up until recent, ducatis have always looked dated. Even in the 2000s the 1098 looked old lol
05/06 GSXR 1000 is number one imo. Let’s see what happens.
WoW! No yamaha r6 on the list? This channel has lost all street cred....🤣
Triumph was on its way to greatness. Japan bikes just chase numbers never really making a bike with soul
A bit of advice from an old bloke who knows.
Listen to your uncle Yam people, he knows what he’s talking about.
Buy the bikes you lusted over in your teens/ twenties as soon as you can, because if you leave it 30 or 40 years you won’t be able to afford them.
I’d love a katana or rg now, but I’d have to sell the house to afford one.
I guess I’ll just have to be happy with the ts185’s I’ve got in the shed.
PS: stop shaving your balls Yammie!
2004 Aprilia 1000RST👍🏼
My 06 cbr600rr 👑
No Yamaha? Fun though.
Why no muscle cruisers? Seriously, the 2000s were when the muscle cruisers truly came into their own. I have an '05 Yamaha Warrior 1700. The torque is mind-altering.
Yammie basically only covers sport bikes on the channel
@@infernoslayer699 I understand... been watching for a couple years. I figured that the muscle cruisers wars of the 2000s deserved some sort of mention.
My favorite bike from the 2k gen is the holy god of all bikes and its called the Hayabusa. Every mother lover dreams about it and riding one.
We’re all thinkin it….r1 or r6. But really the r6.
No 09 R1?
Soooo, no Yamaha R6? Okay
No Daytona 675? For shame!
CB1300
XJR1300
GSX1400
No yzf 600 ? No yamaha at all?
Why only big sports bikes?
how you don't have the 2000 2001 CBR 600 F4i on this list is an absolute joke the bike still goes strong today looks just as good as bikes today and is the choice of the stunting crowd everywhere come on man do some research
I have a ninja 500 I fuckin love it!!!
The Duke! Aka SNOWCAT!
Rate the X-Pro DLX, bike the thing is a whole circus
How could you forget hayabusa
Got a hornet 600 and highly recommend it!!! The 919 is pointless n comparison... still dont get how they can up the displacement by over 300cc and only gain like 16 hp!!! The 600 has 97hp and almost 50 lb ft of torque.... my perfect beginner bike!😊
Good points, I'd love to have the 600 Hornet as well, and hear her scream! But those ponies don't arrive until 12,000 RPM! And those 50 ft/lbs are measured at 9,000 RPM, the very anti-definition of torque. As in Not Torquey, at all! The 919 hits 108-110 HP at 9,000 RPM. And 67 ft/lbs at 6,500 RPM, still in the useable mid range. The 919 has better power to weight and torque to weight ratios than the Bandit 1200, considered a torque monster (in it's day). I'd love hear a 600 Hornet scream like that one night stand in 👠 and 💄, but for a steady girlfriend that packs a punch across a wide range of situations, I picked the 919 Hornet. And that, too is a great point! 😁
Although I would love to dance with a Hornet 600, a narrow peaky power band is Not an ideal for a beginner bike. A torquey broad band is ideal and there are many excellent examples: Ninja 500, GS500, Ninja 650, All the SV650 variants readily come to mind way ahead of the 600 Hornet!
No Daytonas on this list?
