- It has been 3 years since my last simplisafe video, jeez. (technically 2 because I had to re-upload the test videos.)
Here is a video showing how I installed my new system. (Some installs are missing because of camera issues or because of clutter, the device will be shown in the next system test)

I just installed an Wireless outdoor siren and I dont know how to make it work. Could you mabye help?
@@Jauydash551 You need to add the device. Go into settings, go into devices and hit add new other device. Follow instructions and then go outside and hit the test button on the siren and it will add
Simplisafe will send out for free a chime connector for the inside doorbell and it will stop it from humming, had to do it with mine and works great

Have you tried using the carbon monoxide detector or the new Combo detector with the system?
Just got this system, finding it very easy to set up. Love the door sensors which can be left live overnight, just have to remember to turn them off before letting dogs out. Yet to set up outside cameras. Can anyone tell me do those set off the alarm if removed from mounting when alarm is live
Could you reword that a bit?
@@Alarmo05221 I think they are trying to say what happens if you remove the sensors from the mounting bracket while the system is armed, like will it set off the alarm?
@@BukuiZhaoother account, but there is no tamper switch, though take note that the device may trip anyway once you take the bracket off, and they made it more difficult to remove.
Will there be a test video on this and if so, when is it coming out

Yeah because it’s a new system with new components, stuff like this does not grow on trees so it is not gonna be cheap

@@Santerrii Speaking in ADT, they no longer service your system, they expect you to repair it yourself even if you do not know what your doing. Or at least in my area they do that.

Could somebody entering your house just unplug the base to stop the alarm?
The base station is going to be moved to an out of reach area later on as our house is scheduled to be redone a bit
Also, the base station is not AC only as that is a red flag, there are batteries inside, you should know that
Also put a sensor/motion detector on the base unit
@@snapdragon2441I am not doing that because if the station is tampered, it sends a signal to the central station and my cell phone

Yeah, they discontinued the black models for no reason, however apparently my mom thinks it is rude to take stuff shown on pictures and tours of the house we are selling

@@thecomputergeek101old new people probably trashed the thing because it does not really protect anything at all. The vista panel as well did not really protect most stuff either and most of it was dead.
@@thecomputergeek101old I do still know my address and I sometimes check up on my old house from time to time since I just moved up closer to the mountain, and not much has changed lol.
