Crazy to imagine that little truck carrying 4 grown men + plus equipment and a diesel water pump all off road. Reminds me of the water carts and wagons basically pulled by hand to fight fires.
Nice fire engine! I have a very similar truck that I imported five years ago. Mine is a 2005 Suzuki 4X4 Carry with 1100 original miles. Mine came fully equipped and has a gasoline Shambura fire pump that puts out 100 liters of water per minute. It did not come with any hose, but I was able to source 250 ft of 2.5-inch hose with the correct quick-connect fittings. So far I have only put out one brush fire, but it is fun to own and gives me some piece of mind as the local FD is far away. BTW the badge on the front is on all Japanese fire trucks. Mine was in service in Tokyo for ten years and has the same badge.
It's kind of crappy that Honda made the extra axle a tag along rather than driven. I suppose it does offer the benefit of carrying weight, and allows for the fitment of the rubber tracks. Those would be cool for the snow!

It’s a blast to drive around in but good luck if you’re over 5’5” tall
@@letsdriveit_ good luck for me because I'm a 20yo Asian boi.
And I did in fact daily a mini truck in college (slightly bigger one about 1.2 tons wet)
@@letsdriveit_ They say that the suburu sambar has more leg space for taller persons.
It’s so small but I would still drive it😂
I would definitely recommend a drive in it if you get the chance!
Love the simplicity

I’m pretty sure ‘kei’ is pronounced like ‘kay’ not ‘key’
Not a 6x6. Is a 6x4. Can come with tracks to improve traction to the dead axle.
I watched the video.
