I noticed your channel said that you were “trying” tech tips, but I just wanted to say that I thought this review was great! It was straight to the point, let me know the best parts and made everything easy to understand, thanks!
The lack of gyro causes problems in the shrines that need it, so you have to change controllers. The thing that killed this controller for me, though, was the inability to remap buttons. I am a PC gamer and Nintendo swapping the A-B and X-Y buttons really messes me up. The X-Y not as much, but I had to remap the A-B buttons. Imagine my surprise when I tried to do this on the Split Pad Pro! No remap! I no longer use mine, and when I play handheld, I went back to the regular Joycons. Your review was right on though! Good Job!
Ig technically you can fix that “assign locked” by just mapping bottoms around, but that still sucks, I was gonna have my left button as A and my right as B, I’ll figure something out lol
Unfortunately no, these are only compatible with the regular Switch and OLED. Because the Lite doesn’t have removable Joy-Cons there’s no way you can connect these to that handheld. Hope this helps!
I didn't like it returned them the same day and bought the original ones I just like to play word of tanks blitz and having the motion control assist helps
They can get stick drift, but it doesn't seem to be an issue or it's not really common with the Split Pad Pro based on what I've read online. My pair have been working fine since I got them. Hope you found this useful!
They're not wireless so they don't require charging and to connect them you simply slot them into the rail connecter just like a normal Joycon. Hope this helps!
The Switch OLED, Lite, and regular are pretty easy to find in retail stores like Walmart, Target, and Best Buy and more. You can also order it from the Nintendo website as well. Hope this helps!
they can get them but is far less common than the joycons. But still i can guarantee you will get the drift with 2 pairs ofofficial joycons replacements before getting a drift issue on the split pad pro or the compact. So is not only a more efficient but also cheaper option in both short and long term. With the pad pro the drift is rare and with the compact is even more rare. So no matter what option you decide to get both are much superior than the joycons. The only thing you need to keep in mind is you will need a case for either the pad pro or the compact since they are way bigger.
I will definitely be getting these when I get an OLED shortly. I have no interest in rumble or motion control, and I actually like the fact they have no self contained battery to worry about charging. I’ve had a Lite for a while and am ready to move to the OLED with it’s bigger screen. I will still primarily play in handheld, so these will be perfect
It’s not letting me play anything! I can navigate through things on my Switch, but when I click on Animal Crossing, it says it’s unable to load the software or something like that! Wtf is going on???

What do you mean the lack of gyro?
Woah thanks dude! I almost bough these but now that I know I can’t remap the control buttons I won’t
I can't figure out how to set my buttons 😢
These are very, very comfortable. I like them more than the new split pad fit.
Agreed, I haven't tried the Split Pad Fit but would definitely like to review them sometime.

I think I'm gonna get one of these because the Joycons are tiny.
Agreed, plus these are a lot more ergonomic than Joycons. Happy Gaming!

My Daughter has Games for her Nintendo Switch Lite ..will she b able to use them for this system.so far I haven't seen anyone explain any of that yet
