The face-off between pro-Palestine protesters and the police at the University of California’s Los Angeles campus came to an end with the students being arrested. This comes after police with riot gear had gathered at the campus asking demonstrators inside an encampment to leave the area or face arrest. In response, the protesters chanted “We are not leaving” and passed out goggles and surgical masks to prepare for the police raid. Many even wore helmets and headscarves in anticipation.
