My all time favorite is the 2015 "Imagine" trailer. That's what pulled me in to this game back in the day. Seeing that video and imagining the exploration was what got me hooked.
We should clarify that all these "cinematic" videos are either made in-engine. Or in-game. Star Citizen graphics looks like the videos most of the time.
Those people who keeps shouting "scam" at the back, only seen the newer trailers and read the IGN news but not seen the whole progress of the game. Holy shit, that imagine trailer such a blast in the past! We are there, yet not there at the same time.
@AbangSyaft Totally feel you on that! I've been following the game since 2012, and you're spot on-it's been a slow burn, but it's turning into something really special. Games like Elite Dangerous or No Man's Sky might look like they offer more on paper, but the actual fun and depth here just hits different. That imagine trailer really brought back some memories; we’re getting closer, even if it feels like we’re still on the journey. Can’t wait to see where it goes next!

But tell me, and be honest, are those planets fully covered with whatever? EVERY location on a planet (and there are plenty of them, right?) has terrain, grass, sand etc, as well as npcs or loot or whatever? Or what is it? Just a fraction of a planet is suitable to land or what?
@Levael there are no restrictions where you can land, you can land on every place on the planets and moons of the stanton system, you can even go eva and land on asteroids or board ships. Every thing has a terrain and the terrain differs regarding the zone you are in so the icy planet has a lot of of snow terrain but also rivers and forests. The temperature and the weather changes over time, you have storms, it rains, its colder in the night period of time. On the planets you have different locations like underground facilities or caves, wrack sites, derelic settelments, every planet has a major city. You can met nps there. one of the reasons they're stealing you money is because they do not have to server capacity to even build the game except one solar system why do you think you haven't gotten pyro yet they do not have the server capacity to be able to build this game because it takes more server capacity than the world even have
Too bad that it seldom looks this good in game. Planets are a big unrendered ball of white light most of the time, with foliage visible only if you scan. It makes ground combat nearly impossible as you cant see your enemies. Long way to go.
@MyLizardwizard Visually, the game is amazing, and I can’t relate to what you're describing. For me, it looks just like this. I’m not sure if you know, but all the cinematics are created within the game engine.
@@Scooty_jr It's not top of the line to be sure, but a pretty good rig none the less. It meets the recommended requirements in all but RAM. I have 16 GB instead of recommended.

I have my old server group I got four billion best gaming PCs in the world and whenever I log on as long as I have something to do with the internet they're stealing my internet connection now I learned way around that so they cannot steal my internet connection unless I'm on the game but it takes a lot of hot wear and a lot of software to be able to do that now it's about closing down that connection to our PCs and they're trying everywhere around it because you see star citizen is a part of Windows and windows we all knew who know and who owns when those don't we Microsoft a Microsoft is stealing communication over your PCs

@Levael there are no restrictions where you can land, you can land on every place on the planets and moons of the stanton system, you can even go eva and land on asteroids or board ships. Every thing has a terrain and the terrain differs regarding the zone you are in so the icy planet has a lot of of snow terrain but also rivers and forests. The temperature and the weather changes over time, you have storms, it rains, its colder in the night period of time. On the planets you have different locations like underground facilities or caves, wrack sites, derelic settelments, every planet has a major city. You can met nps there. one of the reasons they're stealing you money is because they do not have to server capacity to even build the game except one solar system why do you think you haven't gotten pyro yet they do not have the server capacity to be able to build this game because it takes more server capacity than the world even have

Too bad that it seldom looks this good in game. Planets are a big unrendered ball of white light most of the time, with foliage visible only if you scan. It makes ground combat nearly impossible as you cant see your enemies. Long way to go.
Sounds like a shit PC problem. Mine looks and renders perfectly.
@MyLizardwizard Visually, the game is amazing, and I can’t relate to what you're describing. For me, it looks just like this. I’m not sure if you know, but all the cinematics are created within the game engine.
@@Scooty_jr It's not top of the line to be sure, but a pretty good rig none the less. It meets the recommended requirements in all but RAM. I have 16 GB instead of recommended.

I have my old server group I got four billion best gaming PCs in the world and whenever I log on as long as I have something to do with the internet they're stealing my internet connection now I learned way around that so they cannot steal my internet connection unless I'm on the game but it takes a lot of hot wear and a lot of software to be able to do that now it's about closing down that connection to our PCs and they're trying everywhere around it because you see star citizen is a part of Windows and windows we all knew who know and who owns when those don't we Microsoft a Microsoft is stealing communication over your PCs
