Impressive animation sequences. I am not sure if the "Lumivore" is a plague caused by the evolution Yosu was seeking accidentally released. Or that his "work" had been militarized and he took the fall for the government/ organization. Look forward to find out more in part 2. Thank you for making it!
From what Kenzie saw of the court case; plus the scene of that military officer; I suspect the military interfered and caused the disaster, then blamed it on him to cover their asses.
This was one of the most impressive sci-fi short movies I've ever seen. I don't know what you guys are doing whether it's a Sci-Fi Series or an upcoming game but I wish you the best and I encourage you to keep moving forward.

I feel like alot of people think they wouldn't have done the same to the murderer of their own parent when they were nothing but a child (or at least young enough to have been hugging a plush when the explosion occured). She wasted an incredible amount of crucial time during the op and put the entire mission at risk, even losing a valuable team member thanks to her emotional antics. They would've gotten away clean otherwise. Great animation, design and story but the weak spot is actually the main character. Let's hope they have an arc for her so she is held accountable.

" stop it! " All while doing nothing.

Infinite kudos to the team who put this together. Incredible amount of work and talent went into creating this, the CGI graphics are 1st rate, character development well thought out, it's all good. Following the storyline gets a bit jagged at some moments, more time for this production could have expanded backstory and supporting characters to fill in those elements, but all said, congrats on a well done production. I'm surprised this hasn't appeared yet on DUST . . . best of luck to you all.

what a great story line. I was glued to it the whole time but please don't leave us begging for more! I understand the time this had to take but we need more just like this, please.
The kids are orphans turned rebels who think there might be a conspiracy and a framing of the scientist. The prison is in space. And the real reason, they believe, is that the scientist has discovered a great truth, to get to which he is framed and being probed with a mind-prison torture chamber in space. In their rescue attempt, Kenzie touches the mind-altering fluid/field and sees the official version where her parents were scientists on the imprisoned scientist's team. But Liyan wants to find the actual truth by talking directly to the scientist. That's why they are rescuing him fighting the govt's might.
The production values are really good but I really did not like the Kenzie character. Super annoying. I get what you guys are trying to do by giving her an emotional dilemma, but she doesn't overcome it on her own and acts in a really unreasonable way that makes her seem unlikable and untrustworthy, especially for a mission of such importance.

the cg water is like magic. Remember the first time I saw Jurassic and researching how the CG was done...Silicone Graphics was top in the industry....All this ..a long way from the first Jurassic Park.
Great animation quality and visuals. Choreography was a bit weird in some parts, a victim of plot convenience I guess. Still an awesome short. Thanks for sharing.
@@Boris_Chang Better writing, better visuals, and being far more creative with less kinda like old Hollywood used to do. yes there is a lot of garbage too. At least we can choose not to watch it but Hollywood makes its and advertises it and tries to SELL it to us even when it is not good. Keep in mind, even if it's on some streaming sites or open air television signals you are paying by having to watch ads to pay for that content. On youtube many of these fan made projects can't profit but RUclips or the original owners get paid and not the Fan who made the content because it's licensed. So doing honor to the source content is hard when you have fewer resources than this large corporations. So yes, it's because of the limitations that makes them better in the end. The amount of folks that are doing fan made content are doing better most often more and more with these limitations making them better than most of the license holders.
Except for the character development, it’s obvious you guys will get much better with time …but the art, photography, set design everything else is top notch. This as a series would have me GLUED to the screen. Just hire a seasoned tv writer, spend enough money for rewrites and IM SURE POSITIVE this will go insanely viral worldwide. Great music also inserting classical Beethoven in there was a nice touch.
Kenzie you can debate about killing the dude after you find out what happened which is the whole point you are even rescuing him. Now you have to live with the guilt of killing your partner.
I was genuinely angry by the end. If she hadn't constantly tried to go against him, they would have both made it. But she had to argue 10 times in different spots and wasted so much time. Never take a whiny girl as teammate, lol just gets you killed.

the cg water is like magic. Remember the first time I saw Jurassic and researching how the CG was done...Silicone Graphics was top in the industry....All this ..a long way from the first Jurassic Park.

More and more independent film makers are doing far better than Hollywood these days.

@@Boris_Chang Better writing, better visuals, and being far more creative with less kinda like old Hollywood used to do. yes there is a lot of garbage too. At least we can choose not to watch it but Hollywood makes its and advertises it and tries to SELL it to us even when it is not good.
Keep in mind, even if it's on some streaming sites or open air television signals you are paying by having to watch ads to pay for that content. On youtube many of these fan made projects can't profit but RUclips or the original owners get paid and not the Fan who made the content because it's licensed. So doing honor to the source content is hard when you have fewer resources than this large corporations. So yes, it's because of the limitations that makes them better in the end. The amount of folks that are doing fan made content are doing better most often more and more with these limitations making them better than most of the license holders.

Except for the character development, it’s obvious you guys will get much better with time …but the art, photography, set design everything else is top notch. This as a series would have me GLUED to the screen.
Just hire a seasoned tv writer, spend enough money for rewrites and IM SURE POSITIVE this will go insanely viral worldwide. Great music also inserting classical Beethoven in there was a nice touch.

I was genuinely angry by the end. If she hadn't constantly tried to go against him, they would have both made it. But she had to argue 10 times in different spots and wasted so much time. Never take a whiny girl as teammate, lol just gets you killed.
