I was so pumped to hear about Banjo Kazooie coming to the Switch online. I of course immediately tried to order the N64 wireless controller, only to find out it was not only sold out, but it’s like 130$ on eBay… I wish I was able to order it before it was gone. Hopefully they restock it soon! I have a good collection of OEM controllers with adapters for my computer
Oh that's so sad. I almost immediately tried to order, wasn't possible to get through the site, even after I allowed all the cookies, which the website needs... then there was no PayPal available, only a stupid credit card (in Germany not everyone has one of these things, I don't see the need for it most of the time, mostly I use PayPal for everything). Fortunately a friend of mine offered his credit card and bought 2 for me with his account, that worked immediately for some reason. And only minutes later it was sold out.
I've waited all day for the chance to watch this and unwind! I knew since the Polygon Team did the Break the Targets challenge, this would come eventually. I can only imagine how long this took you. I've been hyped since their target challenges!
Analysis: Without any B-Moves, almost all Polygon characters struggled madly, with the exception of Jigglypuff, Yoshi, Kirby, and Ness to some extent. Link was the biggest shock--missing a total of 35 platforms. Jigglypuff and Yoshi, lacking up-B for height in their original forms, was a bit perplexing to see that their stats were NOT the same, polygon or not. Jigglypuff, with perfectly timed jumps AND forward air kicks, should be able to reach it's final platform on it's stage with TAS. Looking at the stages, most polygon characters found difficulty in DK's and Captain Falcon's courses, with Samus', Ness', and Luigi's courses being disastrous. These courses were completed by all original characters, so it shows how important it is to have B-moves. Link's course is considered the "joke course," being completed by all characters. Also, missing six platforms may have been bad, but Link missed NINE platforms on Yoshi's. Overall, these challenges were interesting, though rough when using the Polygon characters. Though this series is over, maybe I will see if there are any Smash Remix videos.
I was watching this and thought of some ideas. Hope snooplax sees and tests them. For Fox’s stage, can’t you run off the moving platform before the last platform to board when it is right below the right side wall and then possibly make it up there? That would change the charting a bit and might put Kirby and Jigglypuff nearly the same.
I've actually been excitedly waiting for this, but I didn't ask about it since I prefer to wait patiently rather than pester people over it. It's great to be able to finally watch this!
Hi. You finally made this video. Entertaining so far--I only watched the first half. Thought Poly Yoshi would've been identical to original Yoshi. Also, does Kirby gain a bit of horizontal momentum with a mid-air kick after a jump, like Jigglypuff? My favourite N64 games are "Mario Kart 64," "Mario Party 2," and obviously "Super Smash Bros 64." I didn't play "Super Mario 64" often, since I didn't own that game. Also was really fond of 007.
I haven't watched the whole video yet, but was about to say: Jigglypuff gains horizontal momentum forward kicking after jumping. However, I only saw it done via TAS.
Can you not stand on the slope below that high platform on Kirby's stage? If you can, they Jigglypuff should be able to shield break to reach it. Also, on Fox's stage, I feel like Yoshi and Kirby might be able to make it to the last platform if you time your jump from the lift as it's going down.
Slope is too steep. Also for Fox's stage, it's unlikely any character would gain much height when the platform is moving downwards, though sounds ideal.
Why didn't you TAS the other method on Ness's stage with Polygon Yoshi? I would like to see Super Smash Bros. Brawl Break the Targets with the Fighting Alloys in both 1 and 2 players. There's some unfinished business in Super Smash Bros. Melee Break the Targets 'cause there's Master Hand, Crazy Hand, and the Fighting Wireframes left to do.
I wonder how many Break the targets stages Can Master Hand, Crazy Hand, Giant characters, Metal Mario, Metal Luigi the female wire frame and the male wire frame can complete in super smash Bros melee. Or even Doing Super smash Bros brawl's 5 break the targets lvls unplayable characters. 🤔🤔🤔🤔 Still I didn't like what Nintendo did to break the targets in smash 4

@@memeboi69-k3v Don't know if you have seen them in action. In 64, MH can move pretty freely while in Melee, they idle unless you do an attack command (L, R, A, B or Z with a dpad direction) and for most attacks, if there isn't a target, the game freezes.
@@memeboi69-k3v I think you should check this video of someone doing classic mode with him. You cannot move him like you would in ssbm but you can use all of his attacks. ruclips.net/video/MjBwO1Bejrk/видео.html

Does anyone else actually like Board The Platforms and wish it would come back and is disappointed it never did?

It'll be really dope to see the targets/platforms stages with the remix characters! Looking forward to it

Makes me wonder if other characters can do a shield break to reach targets.
Oh yes I’ve been waiting for this one! 🙌
You can thank me for asking Snooplax if he is going to do board the platforms with the Fighting Polygon Team.

1:05;02 kind of surprised you didn't even attempt a shield break here, pretty sure Jigglypuff could've easily gotten that platform with it.
I'm not sure what's more cursed about Polygon Yoshi: the lack of sound effects on its jumps, or the fact that it has a normal shield.
Great work as always, Snoop

Could you do Jigglypuff's as Poly Jigglypuff if you do forward air between the jumps?

Small Question: Are you using a real Gameshark/Game combo or are you using a Everdrive? Cool video though!
