Great product but can’t be used for large /giant breed dogs unfortunately. We were going to order one for our house and another for an Airbnb, but it doesn’t go to 17 x 27 for our Great Dane and St Bernard. I wish you did either larger or custom sizes.
Top latch could be a flip down from the top piece on the inside of the house so someone could not force by unlatching the top. Great minds think alike. Built one almost like this couple of months ago fro my cat.
Very easy and simple to set up. Device doesn’t seal well around my door and frame and will have to add more for a better seal. The new foam replacement for the “sock” and Velcro that use to be provided was not well thought out. Once you use the double sided tape to attach the foam to the door hinge side you are “stuck” with it! If you want to remove the pet door you have to pull the foam and tape off to allow to close your door. You will need additional tape and new foam if it rips when removing.
Imma buy this as soon as I talk to my husband because my dogs are used to having dog doors but we are renting now (& into the near future) & my dog has been driving me CRAZY wanting to come in & out.
Can I please ask where you acquired your deadbolt that you used on these doors. I needed one with no actual locking mechanism, just the actual deadbolt with a face plate and no lock that goes on the other side, that screws onto a door. I’ve been searching the Internet for weeks.
Danielle Lentz sorry for the late response, I didn’t see this message until now. My lock is custom made. Go to my website and send me a message through “contact us” and I can get your information and send you one. inoroutpetproducts.com Thank you
@@rickfernandez9336 , sorry if I dont understand correct but it say for French Doors but this Video is made on a regular door so does that mean it works on a regular entrance Door also?
I just found out these are available in the US but I live in Australia so even if you did sell to me the shipping cost would be enormous. Great idea though.
Great invention, Rick Fernandez! You’ve created a perfect solution to a common problem!
This is a very clever solution for french doors! Nicely demonstrated!

Yes, this isn’t a French door, but most people who have a swinging door with this situation, have French Doors.

Could you combine this with a PlexiDor Electronic Dog Door? I feel like anything large enough for my dog is going to be big enough for a person.
Hi Rick, is it possible to buy the blueprints from you. I love in the Netherlands so I can't purchase your doors in the USA.

No info on how to install the deadbolt??
What is the current lead time if I order from the website and what's a rough estimate for shipping cost within the US?
I’m running about 3-4 weeks. Shipping cost from AZ range from $50-$100, depending where you’re at.
