Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess - Where is the Bridge of Eldin and how do I fix it?

This video guide shows how to find and restore the Bridge of Eldin in the Legend of Zelda, Twilight Princess for the Wii and GameCube consoles. The bridge itself gets warped away just before you enter the Lanayru Province (in Twilight) for the first time. You need to defeat the Shadow Beasts on the north side of the bridge area in order to gain the warp portal here.
Later, when you go to Gerudo Desert, there's a giant platform off in the corner of the desert called Gerudo Mesa. Atop it, defeat the Shadow Beasts to gain the desert portal, then climb to the very top of the Mesa to find a giant stone object. Speak with Midna to warp it back to the Bridge of Eldin portal.
If you do not have the Bridge of Eldin portal, you need to go the long way around to reach north side. Defeat the Shadow Beasts to get this warp point, warp back to Gerudo Mesa (or use Fyer's Cannon to shoot yourself back into the Desert and find Gerudo Mesa), then warp the bridge back to the Bridge of Eldin portal.

I have the prima guide on my lap right now telling me to warp to the Bridge of Eldin. No bridge there Midna says! I find this guide on RUclips and I solve problems the guide never mentioned! Thank you thank you thank you!!!!!!
You can also go (or warp) to Kakariko Village, use the shortcut to Lake Hylia next to King Zora's grave (you have to blow up a rock underwater to open the shortcut) and then use the cannon to get to the bridge.

I think a lot of people just go straight to the giant temple they can see in the distance, rather than going to Gerudo Mesa. For myself, I glanced over, saw the giant stone thing and got curious, but as I was approaching, I realized what it had to be. "... That's awesome..."

There are three total bridges in the game to be fixed, but only two of them are fixed by warping them back into place. The one in southern Hyrule Field is the first one you encounter and the missing piece is found in North Faron Woods (just outside the Forest Temple), right next to the warp portal itself, leaning up against a wall.

For those who are stuck. What you have to do is use the hook on the cactus on the ledge to lift yourself up. Then use the hook again on the flying object above to lift yourself up on the other ledge and fight the monsters. After, go up the stairs and warp the missing part of the bridge. I hope that helps.

Go the other way. Follow your map. Go through South Hyrule Field (north of Faron Woods) and head towards Lake Hylia. Blow up the boulders, enter the Twilight.

One small criticism: I think the reason a lot of people asked you about this part of the game is that your walkthrough kind of skipped over it. You said at the beginning of Section 12.2 the following:
"Nothing in this section is required, so if you’d like to continue onward with the main quest, just run to the north and leap off the ledge to reach North Gerudo Desert."
...but you neglected to mention that the missing Bridge of Eldin can be found there if you complete Section 12.2. Instead, you just said to skip straight to North Gerudo Desert. The missing bridge is not required, but it is quite important and certainly does make travelling in Hyrule a lot easier. Even later parts of your walkthrough reference the missing bridge.
I recommend changing that part of the section to this:
"Nothing in this section is required, but you will find the missing Bridge of Eldin here, so I strongly recommend completing this section. That being said, if you’d like to continue onward with the main quest, just run to the north and leap off the ledge to reach North Gerudo Desert."
Better yet, I recommend you just include collecting the bridge in the main part of the walkthrough and leave everything else in that section alone.
Weird, I remember thinking "hey, maybe that's the bridge part?" at first but when Midna just says "what's this?" and nothing more I dismissed it after that. Didn't realize "warp" meant "warp bridge part" in this one case and didn't need to warp out of the desert at that point.

No, there are several times when you have to fight them in your normal form. Just outside Iza's Rapid Ride in Zora's River, in the Sacred Forest Meadow as you're opening up the Temple of Time, and the last one I can think of off the top my head is here, the Bridge of Eldin. All of those, it is impossible to fight them in your wolf form at all (even the Bridge of Eldin one because you can't warp back to a previous area and go north, the bridge is now gone).

Speak with Fyer in Lake Hylia to shoot up into the desert. From there run to far eastern/western corner to reach the Mesa (it has the Bridge of Eldin on top of it, very obvious looking). Hookshot onto the Pea Hat (flying plant thing) and wait until it circle around, then drop down with A to get atop the Mesa. Climb up, defeat the Shadow Beings to get the warp point. Warp the bridge back to the Bridge of Eldin area.

Spin Attacks.
In the Wii version, shake the Nunchuck.
In the GameCube version, you can either charge it up by holding down the B button, or you can use a Quick Spin by rotating the Analog Stick once and pressing B. Trickier to perform, but faster if you can pull it off.

I completely agree! One could see it by just going half-way towards the the bublin's campsite, i certainly did and i beat the shadow beasts in the dessert, but not the bridge of eldin beasts so, like he said, i had to take the long way around. NOTE: I had 100%ed TP at least 2 years ago!

You start out with it. If you're playing the Wii version, shake the Nunchuck back and forth. If you're playing the GameCube version, either hold in B to charge it up or rotate the Analog Stick once and press B to perform a Quick Spin. If you find that difficult, you can simply rotate the Analog Stick over and over again, pressing B, to use Quick Spins over and over again.

I did't have the portal at the Bridge, but I went to the north side of it and derped off looking for shadow beasts and the next time I looked at the map the portal was there. I only killed the things on the way to the bridge, so I'm confused what happened. But whatever, I guess, it worked.

@SnoocheeBoochees you dont need to talk smack about the wii, a ton of people prefer this game on the wii, including me. i also have played it on the gamecube, and its great there to. so really, it doesen matter what system you play this game on. as long as your playing zelda, the experience is awesome and the game is fun.
i was soo stuck cos those shadow things were on the wrong side of the bridge so i had to go all te way round to the other side, thanks though was trying to figure this out for hours ! lol xx

@DarkLink4861 u look for the plant on the third to the top floor and then u clawshot it then u see something in the sky clawshot it then u climb up then u battle the twilight things then u get the portal if it's the night then u will see a poe there

Then again, I suppose those other two you have the Shadow Crystal at that point, so it's not required, and if you wait long enough, you can always do the Bridge of Eldin warp point later.

I found it, wondering what it was. I clawshotted up and up and up that thing and fought those Twili, to realize that I was supposed to warp that big thing back to the Bridge of Eldin. Pleasant surprise!

Is there a glitch with this? Because I defeated the shadow beasts in this area when they stole the bridge long before I found the piece in the Gerudo desert, and yet no portal is on my map.

Because, it is the single most frequently asked question I have ever gotten. I did not anticipate it when I made the Twilight Princess Video Walkthrough, but... oh... my... gosh... i really like what you did here Caleb. I think this is actually a good thing that ZD should do. While having the main guide you should have sid guides explaining more minor(or semi minor like Peices of heart and stuff) like the bridge of eldin thing. Kepp on rocking the awesome guides Celeb and ZD!

Yes you can! I just like riding Epona around Hyrule Field for a while, or do the snowboarding thing in Snowpeak. Sometimes I do the Cave of Ordeals over and over again, but you could do anything you want!
Lucky when I finished it forgot to save and them I had to do the last dungeon all over again the credits just glitched and didn't save my progress

Thank you alot! This helped me out! I have alredy defeated the Shadow Beasts in Hyrule Fields, so does that mean that I can just warp the bridge back now? I have found the bridge, so... but it is now that I know it was the bridge. I didn't know that when I first saw it in the desert, and why Midna asked if I wanted to warp.

Dunno. I assume she'll just float there. Regardless, using Horse Grass will make her appear no matter where you are and you need her to escort Prince Ralis shortly after this anyway.

god i love twilight princess. The graphics, the story, the gameplay! as good as windwaker was. THIS is what zelda should have been after moving to the new gen console (gamecube, not wii, the wii version is crap in comparison).

@ZeldaMasterBrawler did u even listen? its not that they didnt know where it was, it was that they didnt bother fighting the shadow beasts on the bridge thus they werent able to warp the bridge.
@anakinfan8 it's easy to forget a scene after all the stuff you did after that.
People really needed this? I can understand forgetting to get the portal over the bridge or in the desert but having both portals and still not getting this is pretty crazy.
I'm so confused. Bridge is already fixed for me but the bridge part is still in Gerudo Desert and my map doesn't look like that.

You can dig under the gates. Listen, you should go to our Twilight Princess Video Walkthrough playlist and find the appropriate video, which will help you a lot better than I could with text, though it may be easier to look at the Video Walkthrough using our website instead.

I found the Bridge of Eldin and took care of it... but what about that bridge at the West entrance to Hyrule Castle Town (Wii version). There's a Goron right at the gap where there should be a bridge... is it possible to get that one repaired somehow?

when i'm at the bridge, the shadow beasts are on the complete opposite side. i've been trying to defeat them with arrows, but it's near impossible to get the last two at the same time. do you know of any way to have them reappear on the side i can reach currently?
