@@adityajaiswal3890 As pilot knows how to fly an aeroplane he's trained to fly, if we try to fly aeroplane we might crash it. Similarly Trader is like a pilot he knows how to trade just like a pilot knows how to fly, they both are trained to handle every situation.
On the other hand if they don't know what they are doing, untrained and someone without knowledge, both are gamblers pilot and trader.

Mutual funds might utilise our funds in breverage and leather industry stocks so again wear indirectly promoting liquor and animal hinsa. Secondly when we do day trading we and making profit so someone is.losing his money so that money will never give u peace. So better be a long investor and invest in compony and make sure if possible we ve to purchase the product we ve invested since we a owner of The co that make us legal investor. Yes, exactly my thoughts. Intraday main aapko profit kisi k loss se hi aayega, isliye you are directly entangling with karma of others.
While as a long term investor in good companies, you are contributing towards that company, investing in company growth, including the growth of employees, their families, you are not generating your profit at the expense of somebody's losses, so you are not entangled with other's karma (good or bad).
As per all the teachings, bottom line is that over our life. we need to minimize our entanglements and exhaust our karmic balance by surrendering at the lotus feet of Shri Radha Krishna.

I think you missed one important point.
"The Law of Karma."
When you purchase a share through Mutual Funds or Share Market, you're becoming that percent "Maalik" of that company.
And this is the reason you get profits and losses accordingly.
Now if you invest money in Zomato, and they deliver meat... Then you're also getting that profit of selling meat.
Now you know better whether selling meat is sinful or not.
You're not doing it but someone else is doing it and you are giving them money to do this.
Karma is complex, that's why Krishna said sarv dharman parityajya , Krishna ekum sharnam vraja.

Frist of all thanks a lot for sharing this.
Being in the devotee association and also staying invested in mutual funds I had a very concerning question which I would like to ask.
Like the safest mutual funds are Nifty Index Funds in the market.
But the Nifty 50 index consists of companies that break 4 regulative principles. Example ITC (cigarette company), Hindustan Unilever (has sub brands which sell meat products) and etc.
Most of the mutual fund houses consist of at least 1-2 companies doing this.
Even if today we might choose one mf which doesn't contain any stocks with this category, it might restructure later and include this kind of company later.
What should we do in this case?
Your guide would really be very beneficial in future investments and current restructuring of funds.

as describe in the chapter 16, any work can be of 3 type, satvik, rajsik and tamsik, so, any forms of speculative income is (tamsik) gambling, be in business or share market whatever you do, so, do it with proper study and then invest in the company/business etc seeking long term engagement plan with the feeling of serving lord and its family with the profit and then it becomes sattvic. else its become rajsik and tamsik karma which result is only pain.
