You know, when I published the video I did think I haven't used any interrupted cadences. Good spot! I'll try to remember to include one in my next fugue!!
Sorry, I forgot totally to thank you for providing me the info I wanted! I really appreciate your quick response! So let's open the fugue composition contest!
Been getting interested in fugues lately, so I'm glad i found this channel :)
L'arena trumpet solo as a fugue? If you do that, ill give you my soul in exchange.
Ooooh - now try some lines from Neil Breen films! Fateful Findings or Twisted Pair are easy to find, and 'entertaining' to watch. 'Jim, Jim...'
Surely one of the best ones so far, really great stuff!
Thank you! This one was fun to write.
Really in the style... I would only change one note!
Instead of a C# in the bass in bar 136, Try an A and see what comes from it!

Unfortunatly it would result in parallel fifths with the line on top
Again a very cool fugue. The basic idea could have been one of “P.D.Q Bach's“.
By the way, which software do you use to edit your videos?
Thanks. I’m a big fan of PDQ Bach.
I use Shotcut. Free and easy to use; don’t need complex editing effects for score vids like these.
@@danthefugueguy Peter Schickele, best man!
