This is edited for language, two or three times in the intro. Sammy Hagar explains how Chickenfoot recorded this song live, jamming, all the instrumentation, (while he was skat singing or "skatting around" I have otherwise heard him explain) and that night he wrote all the lyrics. This song gives me the chills and it is one of the best on the album. The "spontaneous organization" of this jam reveals how attuned this band is. Images are from various sources including my camera phone at the Detroit show and some graphic work I've done i.e. the collage. The intro is actually taken after the end of "Get It Up" with the rest of the song subtracted because this could not go without the explanation before it. This tour was the umpteenth time I've seen Sammy Hagar and Michael Anthony and the second time I saw Joe Satriani. It was the first time I saw Chad Smith who is also extremely cool and I caught one of his drum sticks at the Detroit show. What an excellent time! This band, I see staying together a long, long time. They get along so well. What you see on stage is real. You get exactly what you see and you know it's not put on.
