Really an outstanding Radio!! I haven't gotten my first Big Rig running yet - but I'm thinking about this!! 😊
One of the favorite things about this is - I'm not FORCED to look at just an Airplane, and can have STEERING instead of RUDDER and AILERON! 👍👍

Your videos are awesome. I have this radio and I am attempting to connect my Servonaut SMB to my trackloader. I love the fact that It has 20 mixes. Maybe now, I will add more functions to my 140H. Thanks!
That's right friend, I bought mine for that reason, the 20 mix channels because of the servonauts sond models and the nooxion. To be able to mix hydraulik and the sound we need well more than 4 mix channels lol

Thank you for your remarks. I will install the Beier UMC-RC-3 module together with the FlySky PL18EV in my Tamiya MB4151 dump truck in the next few days. With so many functions you can build really crazy light shows into your truck and other functions, at a price that would have been unthinkable for us "old" model builders a few years ago.

This is a very informative video. I, now, have my MFU setup. I, however, realized that I needed to adjust some of the endpoints to activate all the functions....you may have adjusted your endpoints before the end of the video, not quite sure. While setting up the DualRates, it wouldn't allow me to shift into neutral or activate the 2-stick cutoff. After the adjustment, I achieved those functions. Thank you for the videos and keep posting. Maybe you can make a video on mixing "on-demand" hydraulics for this radio....again, Thanks!

I use a DX6e with my King Hauler and it looks like similar mixes could be set up for the lights and horn. May have to give it a try.

Does the radio have servo speed settings mate. For hydraulic models to speed up the hydraulic blocks ?
Great tutorial on this radio...looks like a nice, easy radio to setup. I don't know how I feel about those joysticks though...look kinda tall and bulky. How do you like them compared to standard joysticks on similar types of radio's?
I like them but they are best used with the radio tray. Then they are outstanding.

Hi, I wonder if you can help me with this I have just bought one of these radios PL18 EV and I have tried to follow you setting it up for a Tamea system, but it seems the video must’ve been done before the update of the radios, because when I press the buttons that you say on the video it brings up a different screen on my radio, so would there be any chance that you would be doing new updates on the set up of this radio? It would be a great help to me because I am dyslexic, but I can follow everything you do on the video, but as I said earlier on the screens on mine are different because it’s got the latest update compared to the videos that you are showing on RUclips. Hope you can help me with this. All my regards, Ian

Beier and mfc is different worlds, but many out there find mfc 'affordable and good enough', so it's fine presenting different kinds of system on a channel like this) It's been showed some Beier SFR1 earlier on here. I like Beier myself, put understand it's not for everyone to have)

@@MrOwjee I would think Beier still is some more expencive, when including speaker, speaker mounting, and lights front and rear, which is included in the mfc? But I know, mfc is very expencive compared to what one get

Does this radio support individual receivers per model? In other words, can I set up my Tamiya Tow truck with its custom setup and have my second Tamiya Semi as a separate setup - e.g., if both vehicles have power will only one operate depending on the model selected?
-- Found out the hard way the flysky NB4 operates multiple models on the same model selected - depending on the receiver.
Yes, it has multiple models and one at a time. It also has the ability to switch between 2 models with just a switch so if you have a trailer towing a dozer you can just flip a switch to go between the dozer and truck.
can you add a switch to turn on and off the engine?? is yes how?

Are you going to offer that radio on your web site ? Would love to have one, can’t find them in stock anywhere with those humble sticks .
Probably will not be selling it anytime soon. You can get it on Banggood or Ali Express.
Surely if you attach the 5th wheel release direct to a switch not via the MFC you will loose the setting in the MFC that applies inertia to simulate a trailer attched.
Yes, I would probably actually set it up in the radio with mixes to one of the knobs.
Shouldn't do, the coupler release is just a servo that is only operable when the special function is accessed which would the user could bypass using the servo in an auxiliary channel. It's the coupler switch that the kingpin hits that determines the 100-50% trailer attach speed of the tractor and the sound effect (attach and detachment). 👍 So you're good to go!
Can you do mfc 03 tipper setup for paladin radio
The MFC-03 sets up exactly the same as the MFC-01

Heard something about there have been some issues with the thouch screens freezing on the PL18EV. Is that an issue other here have heard about, and is it a possible bug that has been corrected by now by Flysky?
Have not heard of it and the PL18 EV has the same touch screen as the standard PL18 which has been out for a few years. Only one I actually saw was a person who was having issues but forgot to remove the protective shipping film from the screen before using.
