  • For today's free wirework jewellery tutorial I'd like to share a basic design for my Jewelled Sword Pedant.
Over the past 7 years I must have made probably over 100 of these and no two have ever been the same, they are infinitely customisable and suitable for jewellery wear by any gender, and of course as unique and collectable wall art.
I've used 1.25mm (16g) and 0.4mm (26g) wire with some 3mm faceted Ruby Zoisite beads. Also shown in the video are a small collection of alternative designs with 2mm faceted apatite, a single 4mm faceted labradorite and one piece just using wire alone.
The possibilities are pretty much endless! You can head to your preferred search engine and use images of historical swords for inspiration to build your own armoury.
The eagle eyed among you may notice that I sustain a small injury during the making of the tutorial. That's 0.4mm wire for you, it's like a needle ... I won't go into details, but I just wanted to apologise in advance!
Hope you enjoy this Jewelled Sword Pendant tutorial, made by a pacifist, love Jem xxx
After dozens of requests I have finally joined Buy Me A Coffee, so if you found the tutorials helpful in any way and feel you'd like to contribute to the ongoing upkeep of the channel, then here is my link:

Utterly in awe of your skill. I'm going to have to go lift weights for a month before I can even attempt to bend TWO 16 gauge wires together with just my fingers! I can barely manage to control or move 18 gauge after 5 minutes of working on it! 😭😭 You are the Avatar of Wire-Bending. 🙏🙏🙏🙏

I'm so pleased you've tried the tutorial out. You can always give it a go in 18g wire and hammer gently after forming the main shape. If you're able to obtain raw copper wire it's wonderful to work. Thank you for watching and making time to comment xxx
