Hi friends! I made a follow up video to help you more with these prongs. How I harden them by burnishing, how to adjust the frame, how to add a wire. Here is the link to that video and it's also linked at the end of this video. ruclips.net/video/M92R2rkZISY/видео.html I hope it helps!

This has been a wonderful tutorial! I have watched alot of tutorials and you are the best instructor. Calm, gentle and thorough. I have learned so much from you! This pendant is gorgeous! And that stone is gorgeous! I'm working with you on this project. But I'm using an labradorite oval shape, which is tricky to get it centered at the top, but it's coming along just fine. Thank you for this wonderful tutorial! 💖

Thank you so much for this video. I'm just learning and I was struggling lately with making smalls prongs. Really, really small ones and it didn't work out. And your video appears perfectly timed. I used your tips and techniques and I DID IT. And they came out surprisingly even. That's why I love your instructions - I learn a lot from you ❤ And I like that you are not afraid of imperfections and show them. It's comforting that even such experienced people don't do everything perfectly like a machine. In the end, the effect is great anyway 🤩

This video gives me hope that I can do something as clean and professional looking as you! When I try to emulate projects like this, I usually give up once I make a mistake that wasn't shown in the video. What I like about this video is that you point out when you've made a mistake, and you let us know that it's ok - it'll get worked out in the end. For example, when you were compressing your prongs and you had a couple of them bunch overtop of each other, you showed us that it's OK when that happens because you showed us how to fix them. Even better, those couple of prongs that were a bit short compared to the others, I had my doubts they'd look OK at the end, but they did! Thank you for this!!

Just a thought - if you don’t compress the last prongs on each end you can still get an idea of how many more you need, but the prongs are still open enough to insert the pliers to make more.

Thank you! You can do this with different wire, such as round, or different metal such as silver. I do sell jewelry in this design... this one is sold for example and I do have a sterling silver opal in these prongs available in my store... just smaller but the same wrap... www.etsy.com/listing/1492721320/ethiopian-opal-in-sterling-and-fine?click_key=5c92ae4a41665e647676fc623ed5d8f17f23ce02%3A1492721320&click_sum=c817a495&ref=shop_home_feat_1&frs=1

Question 2) Can you please tell me the first letter of your first and last name?
Question 3) What are 3 of your favourite colours?
I’m making a twist on this design and need the above information ~ I don’t have Etsy,Instagram or Pinterest ~ so would be great-full information!!

Hi Lisa, THANK YOU so much for the Super Thanks!! I appreciate you! Regarding your questions... 1) I am 14 days from relocating to NH, so I don't have a current po box that I can give you until after I am moved, after August. 2) I.G.
      3) Purple, Red, Green? I hope that helps for now! Thanks so much for watching! Have fun with the tutorial!
