    Kareem should have won FMVP in 1980
    Magic should have won FMVP in 1988

    Little known fact. Kareem won the finals MVP in 1980. The writers voted for Jabbar. CBS went to thel and demanded they change their vote so they can interview Magic and give him the trophy.

      No the 3-point got introduced to the NBA in the 79/80 season

      It was already in the ABA, you can go on Basketball reference and see what players from the 60’s averaged from 3

    You can't just read off stats for finals games. People diving on loose balls, or controlling games without getting good stats need to be accounted for. And you can't be named co MVP if you get swept.
