Hey, it took me about 12 years to get out from under the rock I was stuck under. I too will NOT go back under that rock again! I paid off my debts, paid off the debts of ..... my mistakes lets call it, still managed to fix up a house and get it sold. All on a single income, and that um, sucked lol. Most people can't figure out how I did it because most people don't have the self control to do what is needed. You're one of the few that do, so you know EXACTLY what I'm talking about! You've kept yourself debt free for 2 years, and that's amazing! I know what you went through to get to where you are, and you deserve to be very proud of everything you've accomplished. Us debt free people are few and far between in this world.
Thanks Colin, I have to say, I feel like it's one of my biggest accomplishments. There were times it seemed beyond reach and stuff kept happening to hold me under. I was so excited to make that last payment knowing I would do whatever it took to keep myself out of debt from that day forward. Congrats to you too! 🍻
Hey Colin, I ended up giving up my first home and vacant lot next to it to my deadbeat abusive ex just to get my divorce and him behind me. A co-worker wisely told me--"That's the price you pay for freedom." I did get the family home, but he had zero claim to my first home. In my mind, I found comfort in knowing that our 2 daughters would at least be visiting him every other weekend in a house they were familiar with.

Being debt free gives a feeling of freedom most people will never understand. When you are in debt someone owns a piece of you. Before I retired I work to get myself debt free and I have been debt free for 15 years now. I now have more money than I ever had in my life. If I need to make a large purchase it is far easier to save up for it and then buy it. The main thing to being debt free is to have a very tight control on your spending habits, only spend on what is needed or really wanted. Sometimes you may have to take on a temperory debt, but now it is easy to pay it off quickly. Banks and credit lenders are most likely throwing darts at pictures of me.
I finally got debt free on July 24th of this year, with the last payment on student loans that I took out over 20 years ago (long story). I drive a beat up 14 year old car that's been paid off for a number of years, and I'm paying cash for my next one. It feels great being able to sleep at night knowing that nobody can come after me for money. One of the neighbors in my apartment complex had a car repossessed a few months ago (I watched it happen) - been there, and never again. Thanks for sharing.

I noticed the scooter was almost out of gas. My girlfriend and I have a system: we call half a tank "out of gas", and fill up whenever we get down close. That way, we are sure we have plenty of gas to get almost anywhere. Just a thought.
I have that rule also but the ONE time I did not follow it I was held over at work and then there was a County wide power outage for 9 hours. I was praying I was going to make it home 38 miles away.

Never understood a storage payment. Why store things away and pay to do that? It’s like having clothes in your closet that you never wear… Get rid of things in storage in my opinion… we don’t use them or we wouldn’t be storing them. Same with a “junk drawer”. If it’s junk and has no designated place trash it… 💪🏽💖

Jenna being inspirational as always, been collecting firewood this month and I just ordered my first woodstove gonna save a fortune on propane in my RV this winter!
Lucky duck! I'm not far enough along to be able to get a woodstove setup for this winter, so I'll be on propane this winter. Next year is woodstove year for me. Nice to hear that you'll be nice and comfy this winter. Congratulations!

I have been living in a tiny house that I built with cash and bought my property with cash that I had saved. But after two plus years of living tiny I was able to pay off my Harley, truck and a small loan I was able to get debt free and I love it.

Just found your channel, great content!! I too am out of debt, enabled me to purchase land and hope to homestead. Saving up slowly to develop the land my own way. I plan to get a Jackery for my power.
Here in CNY. We have a 4 bedroom house paid off, BUT the crazy school and property taxes going through the literal roof!! Sick oooooffff it! So we are seriously planning on this as well. Bought a small, nice flat property and prepping it. Thanks. Great posts!
I tried to live in a winnebago it was pretty big,but I didnt know anything at the time..Me and my girl had a rough winter..It was cold, and the pipes froze, and the furnice quit, and we were frying sockets trying yo run electric heaters lol
Greetings Jenna. Your are one super extra work of art. One extra fantastic young lady that has become dept free and can now travel on your moped to experience all the joys of life and things to see in Nova Scotia, and Nova Scotia has lots of places to visit and enjoy. Thank you for sharing and have an extra wonderful day.
Run that old ethanol gas out the moped before you stop riding it for the winter, i know it gets cold up there in the great north next month. We be gettin frost down here in ks in a couple more weeks. Youve likely awredy had a frost by now.

I think portable power stations are ok. Not crazy about them but I set up my camp not to need one. Others might be able to charge them up and just bring them where they need power, because perhaps they don't have solar or a genny where they are. Also good for back up power.

Sorry to hear that. Might be different in rural areas where people can't see it from the road. I have dealt with this too when asked about my home. Some people think I am less than because of it. I think they're less than for thinking that way..

When you own a lot, it creates worry/anxiety. Probably better off owning less, no stress, and can pack up and jet much faster if need be. What body of water is that? I was impressed with your bait casting ability and the hook set on that little bass. 🤘🏼
Paid of student debt. That's quite an accomplishment in itself! Peace quiet and a girl that can throw plastics with a bait caster and actually catch fish. Where were you 30 years ago!!! Good on ya and keep up the good life! I'm all paid off and on my way to Nevada to look at some land. I am a builder so I am ahead of the game already! You have it made and I'm jealous!
Congratulations on continuing to being debt free!! Fun video . Always good to get out and do what you enjoy! Glad you are getting sponsors, you have put in a lot of work on your videos.
I know how you feel, I live in a 326 SQFT tiny house I built myself out of a portable building/storage shed 12X28, on a half-acre backed up to a bayou down here in Louisiana. Like you I don't have much, but it is mine, free and clear and I own no one anything and it feels incredible.
I have a whole new appreciation of the work that you put into creating and editing a video for YT. Last weekend I took video showing how I fill the feeders at my boss's ranch with the tractor. All of the video files added up to over an hour (I used a GoPro and my phone for different camera angles). After editing, the video is only about 15 minutes long. The editing process took way longer that I thought it would!!!!! I'll be looking forward to watching your new video this evening (I cheated and looked ahead, it looks like a scooter rip and fishing in one video!!!!!!!)
Congratulations!! You are a gem, Jenna! Keepin it real, through the tough times, you have persevered, and you are killin it! Finally we have role model that our daughters could actually look up to and get real advice! Proud of you!

Never understood a storage payment. Why store things away and pay to do that? It’s like having clothes in your closet that you never wear… Get rid of things in storage in my opinion… we don’t use them or we wouldn’t be storing them. Same with a “junk drawer”. If it’s junk and has no designated place trash it… 💪🏽💖
I got out of debt about 15 years ago. Haven't used credit since. If I can't pay for it with cash I don't buy it.✌️
It's a good rule to have!
You’re right my sister……, it’s not what you have it’s what you OWN!
Oh my! I read the title... clicked the video... 30 seconds go by and I'm already obsessed! I don't know what you're sawing wood for (yet), but it speaks to me deeply! I love to DIY and fix things and this video is giving DIY! 💖💖 Ok, excuse me while I finish watching the video now.
You are living a wonderful life, enjoy. The freedom must feel great....
I remember that little Honda generator , then the army generator w/pony motor then we got that 12,00 KVW Onan.Between 1974-80.
Keep living the life you built and enjoy ❤your neighbour from New Brunswick
'Bent there, broke that' might be a good way to put things. ✌🏽
Nice catch! Ya might tilt your reel on it's end during the cast -- it'll get ya a few extra feet payout ... learned that from my father-in-law.
I’m debit free too and I love it damn right lol !
"You miss a 100% of the shots you don't take!" Good stuff Jenna, we are fans and now we are subscribers. Keep cranking out the goodness...sometimes it's all we got.
Debt free is such a fabulous feeling. You have all you need, so enjoy your new found freedom!!
Thank you! 😊
Good way to spend the day ! Enjoy the inspiration on becoming debt free I am sure the time it took is worth it . Hope you get more days like the one I got to see you enjoy without the land clearing of course .
It’s nice seeing you work around “your estate”, but nice seeing you chill out too. 3) If you give up, you will never succeed. All you can do is try. I need to write these sayings in a book, lol
I live in a Park Model, tiny home in Wisconsin. I’d like to put in a tiny cubbie wood burner but hubby isn’t comfortable. I know it can be done as I’ve seen it in trailers. Any advice?
Starlink is $150 a month. That’s horribly high. How does that fit in a debt free life?
Maybe try with a small Cubic mini?
I'm a new subscriber and I like what you do! I led a similar lifestyle decades ago and it looks like I'm going to get back at it. I find it to be interesting how much I miss the simplistic life.
I have been living in a tiny house that I built with cash and bought my property with cash that I had saved. But after two plus years of living tiny I was able to pay off my Harley, truck and a small loan I was able to get debt free and I love it.
Awesome! Congratulations! 🎉🎉
@@gypsyjenna I definitely have to accredit living tiny is the reason I was able to get the other loans paid off sooner. I actually am very much enjoy living the tiny lifestyle.
Love your story
A few decades ago I owned 2 1953 trailers, one an Aistream, one an Ideal (made by airstream, looked like a tugboat ⛴️ Biked uphill after work to haul my stuff, had electricity and running water. 💦 Low space rent. Good times! Good for you Jenna!
Everything about this is a YES for me!!
Great video, i just bought a jackery 1000v2 last week after storm its works amazing. Glad your debt free too looking good too.
Just found your channel, great content!! I too am out of debt, enabled me to purchase land and hope to homestead. Saving up slowly to develop the land my own way. I plan to get a Jackery for my power.

Heck yeah for The Gypsy F'n Jenna show! 🐶🐕🤠
Great job Jenna! You’re on a solid plan. Keep on rockin it! Watching from far northern Minnesota!🇺🇸🇨🇦👍🏻
I’m on my debt free journey one thing I had to realize is I can’t live a champagne lifestyle on a beer budget
Beer and wine are cheap to make.
@LilyGazou definitely! I've done both in the past!
Thank you, Moses 😊

❤
That's/ This is Awesome.
Scooter run looks like fun too.. I am so looking forward to watching more of your channel❤
Good for you! Debt free is the way to go. There will be many who are wishing they didn't overspend money that they didn't have. Take Care!
Run that old ethanol gas out the moped before you stop riding it for the winter, i know it gets cold up there in the great north next month. We be gettin frost down here in ks in a couple more weeks. Youve likely awredy had a frost by now.
You're an awesome gal Jenna! Here's a song for ya. Blu canary in the outlet by the light switch... who watches over you. Make a little birdhouse in your soul. Not to put too fine a point on it. Say I'm the only bee in your bonnet. Make a little birdhouse in your soul. -They might be Giants. Cheers Pal!
Gave my Honda 2200 and Jackery 1000 to my dad in NC. Picked up new ones during Prime days. Now he is okay and I did not pay full price for helping him. I love my new Jackery 1000 plus.
Congrats girl!!! Winter is sure coming fast around here, atleast we have gotten away with no big storms "knock on wood". Look forward to your next post and video ❤❤
Thank you! 😊
Yes, it's approaching quickly but on the plus side, I have managed to avoid making a fire so far this year. I am gonna see how far into October I can get away with it lol
@gypsyjenna it's like a game, how long can we go before turning the heat on 😄 I have had to slap my fingers a cpl times but I'm also holding out ..
@traceyschofield2054 true! I have been running the diesel heater a little some mornings and evenings but that's it!
Congratulations to being debt free for 2 years! Happy for you. Just subscribed today. Maria in SC

I’m impressed with your lifestyle,I’ll go back and binge watch your videos to give me some inspiration! I’ll get me a box truck and see what I can come up with!
I think portable power stations are ok. Not crazy about them but I set up my camp not to need one. Others might be able to charge them up and just bring them where they need power, because perhaps they don't have solar or a genny where they are. Also good for back up power.
GypsyGirl, debt freeHappiness, Well done💙💚🤙🤙Kool cruise on the 2 wheel Ferrari, beautiful day out. Glad to see Jackery steppin up, an Xtra powerbank always helps. Ya i left cali in 2020 , been on my land 4 years. No debt is the best thing ever. Got my Callen Camper to live in , a daily and my Koop, its as simple as it gets. 730pm sunsets here in Idaho already. Congratulations on your second anniversary of living debt-free! Many people do not have the self-discipline you are showing. Great job on sharing your experience with that Jackery 1000 v2. Seeing you use your circular saw has convinced me that is the size that I'll be buying this Fall!
Jackery - I didn't Even know Existed!!! Thanks for Sponsorship of This Video!
The best way to live debt free ...
Be a 🐈⬛ or 🐕 . Catered to , loved , often spoiled !
Luv your videos , keep on keeping on Miss Jenna . 💕🤗
And a Pssst pssst for the boys . Rory and Ramsey .
Good for you. I would like to do something similar but I live in southern ontario and man people get pretty stuck up if you try to set up a trailer the way you have. I'm not knocking it, I think it's awesome.
Sorry to hear that. Might be different in rural areas where people can't see it from the road. I have dealt with this too when asked about my home. Some people think I am less than because of it. I think they're less than for thinking that way..
I worked the last 5 years to get debt free ,,now to reno my house ,,then after that to build a tiny house on wheels /solar /rain water on a island with a causeway in Nova Scotia Canada called Sober island it is all ocean water frontage . It will be peaceful there , me and my dog lol thank you for the inspiration . Keep up the videos.
Sounds awesome! Hope you enjoy the move! 🙂

Hey Jenna, you are a hard working lady and you deserve to celebrate. I hope you inspire many others to take the journey to financial freedom so to speak.Jenna, you need to capture your sayings and out them on a coffee mug, t-shirt or both. 1) in don’t have to look pretty, just work and now, 2) I don’t own much but don’t owe anything either, Excellento!
Debt free here as well and living just like you,Have a great day.
I wish you all the luck in the world, my dear. I’m hoping to get out fishing this coming weekend.

Thank you Jenna for your videos. Whenever I'm feeling down, I watch one of your videos and you lift me up! 🙂
I'm very glad to hear that!
Wealth is not in the money you own, but in the knowledge you contain,
Making something out of nothing is genius and satisfying ❤
Congratulations, Jenna!! After a lifetime of abusing credit cards and realizing that I wasn't getting any younger, I tightened the bootstraps about 4 years ago and made a conserted effort to get out of debt....and I did it. It's a great feeling to have the weight lifted. While I didn't do it the way that you did, I know the feeling that you have being debt free!
Thanks and congrats goes to you! It sure is an amazing feeling!
When you own a lot, it creates worry/anxiety. Probably better off owning less, no stress, and can pack up and jet much faster if need be.
What body of water is that?
I was impressed with your bait casting ability and the hook set on that little bass.
🤘🏼
Awesome, you did great, you owe nothing. Just found this channel, subcribed.
Awesome! Great job, very freeing!
Hi again from Maine. As always, I enjoy your videos. Loved the scenery from your scooter trip. Congrats on being debt free!😊
Thank you! 😊
yah!!!! I just discovered your channel!!!! I’m about to binge ❤
I have a whole new appreciation of the work that you put into creating and editing a video for YT.
Last weekend I took video showing how I fill the feeders at my boss's ranch with the tractor. All of the video files added up
to over an hour (I used a GoPro and my phone for different camera angles). After editing, the video is only about 15 minutes long. The editing process took way longer that I thought it would!!!!!
I'll be looking forward to watching your new video this evening (I cheated and looked ahead, it looks like a scooter rip and fishing in one video!!!!!!!)
Haha thank you and it definitely can be work!
I’m working on my second million, I gave up on the first million.
Congratulations!! You are a gem, Jenna! Keepin it real, through the tough times, you have persevered, and you are killin it! Finally we have role model that our daughters could actually look up to and get real advice! Proud of you!
Thank you so much 😊
