I'm the child of one of the past wranglers and he plays his songs for my family sometimes. I distinctly remember this song being used to calm my siblings and I down when he told us about the Ranch burning down. Good memories.
We didn't know about this ranch until we saw billboards in CO Springs. What a happy accident in 1994. A wonderful memory with our 10 yr. old boy and 6 yr. old daughter. BEAUTIFUL 'Wrangler' voices. GO if you can!
It really sounds like the band Bad Dogs use to play up in woodland park when i lived there. I bought 4 CDs, in 2007 and i listened to those and gave some away Sure wish i still had a copy , i never for get a voice ive heard more than a few times...
my grandma had the tape in her car (which I now have) and it was one of my favorites( still is ) I just wish I knew where it went so I could listen to it again. That tape was one of my best childhood memories.
my favorite played 1993 at Pikes Peak Center The Flying W Wranglers and the Colorado springs Symphony!!!! Original pieces of cowboy songs with the symphony. It was memorable. The Symphony also played selections from Aaron Copeland.

I was there in 1997 I remember this song quite well. I went back to Colorado in 2013 and was amazed at how much as changed.

Thanks for posting this!!! I saw them in 2003 and bought a cd that I thought had this song on it. It wasn't on there. I'm happy to hear it again.
The Flying W Ranch burned to the ground in the Colorado Wild fires this past summer. :(
