Best advice I can give you is to have producer ears…to be able to pick out instruments from popular songs that you listen to on Spotify and shii…just learn how they work with each other in the mix, the type of instruments they use, type of reverb they use, drums, how the snare and kick sound, how the guitars sound, where it’s panned, how it’s mixed yunno Formulating how the artist might have gotten that particular sound and also experimenting to figure it out and to learn As a musician or producer you have to listen to alotta music to expand your taste and to also learn Hope that helps❤️🔥
