    Hey Shane,
    I really appreciate the videos you make as they contain a lot of very useful information while also being friendly and easy to follow. My personal goal is to compete in "MMA" after college for a short time, mostly learning martial arts in general as a self humbling activity. This being said, I was inspired by your usual fighTips videos and found you also have many other types of content as well! I did some stretching and a small warm up exercise with pushups and jumping jacks to get my blood flowing. Once I put on the video and began to follow along, I was doing pretty well and I felt good too. Once I reached the end of the first round I was exhausted and paused the video for a break, unfortunately, I began to feel more nauseous and drained so i decided it's probably best to not continue. Moments later I ended up tossing my lunch.
    This problem is constant across all types of cardio based workout, I have a terrible fear of coming back again and again becuse I know every time at the end I will end up feeling horrible and getting sick.
    What do you think I can work on to avoid situations like this? I tried to eat relatively smart to provide enough fuel for my body after it digested as well as not push myself beyond what I believe I am capable of.
    I would love to hear any comments or opinions from fellow fans as well, it just upsets me so much that I have to feel afraid about pursuing a healthy lifestyle through exercise.
    Thank you!

    So just started implementing this routine today. Managed to get through two sets with around a minute rest in between. Could you give any tips with regards to shadow boxing please, I practiced tae kwon do for a few years when I was around 8 to 11 but sadly have lost all my flexibility and stamina. Im now 16 and really want to get back into my fitness etc.
    Would you recommend continuing this routine as well as light weight lifting?
    I hope to be able to push my 2 sets into 3 by the end of this month.

    i love this.. it really helped me alot and i am overweight and trying to learn to kick box at the same time but because of my weight problems i cant do the matrix push ups and i struggle on the burpies is there any recommendations for what i cant do instead because i am really trying my hardest to loose some weight.. thanks all

    • @Daralantan
      @Daralantan 8 лет назад +2

      I'd say try to see how many burpees you can do... And keep pushing each time. If you need to stop, maybe just replace them with squats. Just keep it up each day and don't get discouraged :)

    • @Daralantan
      @Daralantan 8 лет назад +1

      Like something good would be...If 1-2 rounds of burpees were all you could manage.... You could do regular squats (actually maybe do lunges since there are already squat jumps in here) for one set... Another set you can do some more pushups. Or at least do some planking and add in a few push ups. Just make sure to keep going and if you have to sub something in for burpees... make sure you still work legs, core, and arms if possible.
      And you can work your way up to matrix pushups. Those are hard, ugh. I do a weak amount of them while wishing I was capable of doing archer pushups!

      I switch it up depending on my workouts. Sometimes it's audiobooks, ska for cardio, hip hop for shadowboxing, metal for light lifting, and if I'm really focused, I can't listen to anything with headphones -- I feel like I need all of my senses haha.

    I had a fight last semester with a bully, I was this close to knock him down unless he didn't push me hard to the ground with a push I still don't know how it got me on the ground, btw I obviously lost the fight and I felt that I was humiliated, after the fight he kept bullying me but I ignored him. 2 months later I signed myself into an MMA & Boxing club named : "My home", Rn I'm practicing those punches and strength, and I guess this video will help me to do it.
    Next time I'ma face him and stand tough when I feel that I'm ready to, wish me that I get better with this, I'ma tell u what's gonna happen next..
    "I hope that I knock him down next time"

    • @TylerSpark714
      @TylerSpark714 5 лет назад +5

      You need a good stance, if he has more mass then he probably has a very strong push. If not then it was your stance, so work on your stance and make sure it's stable and strong. But if it's the fact that he may have a strong push then you may want to work on learning how to deflect or avoid it. Deflecting is rather easy, all you need to do is bring your arms between his as he's about to push you and bring your arms over his then push down. I know reading how to do something like this then trying to apply it to irl can be hard, and if it is then I recommend signing up for Martial Arts as I learned that deflection from my time in Tae Kwon Doe

      Ask me I had a fight with half my class. Always punching one guy or another. I should calm down. You should throw the first punch to get that extra power. First threaten the bastard if he doesn't get it. Give him a good hook or uppercut. And then keep up the heavy punches till you land 6 or more then grab the bastard threaten him once more if he gets the message let him go if he doesn't attack again or slam him on ground and kick him or choke him.
