Ima just say this, instead of literally going back to being kids, the fight where he was against Itachi and that shark Shinobi, instead they take him to their HQ, but Itachi takes a moment to tell Kakashi the truth although hesitant at first he knows there's something about Kakashi that just has this bond with him perhaps he sees shisui in him as he shows him everything from his POV using sharingan Kakashi understands the situation and decides to be the double agent for the Akatsuki and the Leaf but for now he's using a mask and hood to hide his identity so Naruto doesn't recognize him should he see Kakashi somehow. It's a long and complex story but definitely interesting one.

Very interesting story. The only thing you missed is that the Geto Statue almost broke when they put the 7 tails in the statue first. That's when they realized they needed to put the tailed beasts in the Geto statue in order. If they tried to put Kurama in first, Kurama would destroy the statue.
They would need to collect the Tailed Beasts in order. I think this would give the Hidden Villages a chance to cooperate. Especially if more than one is taken out at a time. But this is also whh the Akatsuki stealthily collected the Tailed Beasts. Destroying a village, especially more than one, would cause way too much noise, put each village on high alert, and probably foster cooperation in a way that would severely limit the Akatsuki's chances of success. Not to mention, most villages have more than one tailed beast, so they would need to imprison one tailed beast as they hunt down others with lower numbers. Like image they attacked the Hidden Cloud and took Matatabi and Gyuki. They would be forced to imprison Killer Bee until they caught 7 other tailed beasts. This is impractical and a hinderence.
They don’t have to do it in order, they just have to put Kurama in last. We see them put the 2nd and 3rd in out of order

Like, the only characters that scale on close leagues to sick Itachi in the Akatsuki are Obito, kisame and refilled Nagato (the paths scale below Nagato and Itachi in all physical stats)

Danzo’s biggest L in this timeline is stealing the wrong eye lmao, also I think this iteration of the leaf is so beastly that if you don’t include Pain into the mix of members Obito sends then it’s actually fifty-fifty on who walks away with the dub if I’m being generous to the Akatsuki. But with Kakashi’s tactical mind Pain is definitely starting with a Chaotic Shinra Tensei and then everyone else is invading which just makes this unwinnable for the leaf. Also damn Naruto and Sasuke got sniped in the cradle same with Sakura lol. Tsunade sold the village with that fear of blood right here too.

Kakashi leading the Akatsuki is interesting. I have a couple of questions about your version specifically: if Kakashi killed Black Zetsu, does White Zetsu still exist? Aren't they codependent in some way? My lore on how Zetsu works is terribly weak but I don't see how Kakashi gets to have the benefits of Black Zetsu being dead AND White Zetsu being ignorant and alive? Wouldn't the other half know what he'd done?
Another thought, and this is mostly a headcanon of mine, if Madara isn't actively trying to awaken Obito's MS, then why would the Mist have made Rin the dirty bomb jinchurriki? I always thought it was MORE than bad luck, but that Madara purposely manipulated the Mist into doing that to Rin specifically to rip the hope from Obito and awaken his MS. It was Madara's stupid good luck that, bonus: Kakashi was the reason she died. Had Kakashi not been there, Madara's plan would have gone something like: Rin would go back to the Leaf, the seal would fail, and Obito's will would be crushed. The Leaf was destroyed and by none other than his precious Rin. Obito only talks garbage about Kakashi so he can't really rely on him being his best friend so Rin will have to do. But instead, even better for Madara in some ways, Kakashi intervenes and Rin uses him to commit suicide. The point is: if Madara isn't trying to break Obito's will, would Rin have still been in that situation? Wouldn't he have tried to isolate another Uchiha rather than go for Kakashi?
Wasn't Orochimaru still with the village during the Nine Tails attack? Minato is dead when Kakashi gets sent after Orochimaru in the filler arc, so that's after Hiruzen steps up again. But if Orochimaru is still there and hasn't been outed for his human experiments, why wouldn't he be a Hokage candidate?

1: No, white Zetsu can exist independently
2: It’s unclear whether or not WZ would know what happened. I guess it depends on if a version of him is fused to BZ.
3: I think it’s more heavily implied that Madara orchestrated it so that Rin would die, but her dying at Kakashi’s hand was a total stroke of luck
4: Oro should be gone because it’s stated that he left after Minato became Hokage, and the flashbacks doesn’t show Hiruzen in his Hokage garb.
@@sageofthickcalves I will give you that Hiruzen isn't in his Hokage garb but I think that begs the question: why didn't Minato deal with Orochimaru himself? Now I suppose Hiruzen might have said, I'll handle this himself myself he's my student etc. but didn't he have a couple of ANBU with him? Seems like something a Hokage would have along rather than a retired Hokage who's just going to handle a difficult personal matter.
I feel that Konoha could potentially survive the Akatsuki Assault since they'll have two Sanin level fighters, and one arguably Pain level fighter. Not to mention Guy, who if pushed, could us the Eighth gate to KO whoever he's fighting.
I see Pain seeking out Kushina for the Nine Tails, Naruto trying to fight him, leading to Itachi saving him and fighting Pain. I see Orochimaru fighting Hiruzen (if he went after Itachi he'd just get KOed, and him going after Hiruzen is more likely in my eyes) only this time there's no barrier to prevent help, which would come in the form of Anbu. I see Jiraiya trying to help Hiruzen, but getting blocked by Konan. I see Hidan and Kakuzu fighting Asuma, Kurenai, among other Jonin, with Guy fighting Kisame. Sasori I see going out on his own and fighting whoever, maybe getting engaged by Ibiki or something. Since the Akatsuki won't have an army of Sand or Sound Shinobi, support is more likely to arrive for the elongated fights. This won't be astronomically effective, but it may tip the scales enough for some fights to end quicker. I see Jiraiya packing up Konan pretty quickly, going on to support Hiruzen, or fight Sasori, depending on if Sasori takes notice of Jiraiya. If the latter, then I still think Hiruzen with Anbu support would last, and maybe put Orochimaru on the backfoot, even with Hokage summons. If the former, then they'd pack up Orochimaru pretty quickly, even if it just results in his retreat. They'd then fight Sasori, which would take them a bit, but I don't see them losing, even if one of them dies. Guy would likely defeat Kisame, in Part 1 they were relative in base, and Guy has the gates. Guy would likewise be able to defeat Kakuzu and Hidan with, even though most of their opponents, including Asuma, would be dead. This whole time, Itachi and Pain would be battling, at this point I see aid arriving for Itachi. It likely wouldn't be everyone all at one, but if it's Hiruzen and Jiraiya, then I see it tipping the scales in Itachi's favor, even if it's slight. Pain would be able to pack up Hiruzen or Jiraiya individually fairly quickly, with only minor difficulty, even together I only see a moderately difficulty battle at best. But with them as support, even fatigued, they'd likely give Itachi the chance to seal the Deva path, and the rest would fall fairly easily if that happened.
The only compilation would be Kakashi, if he gets involved when it seems Pain is going to lose, then I don't see Itachi, even with help, defeating him. Maybe if 8 gates Guy jumps him, or he teams up with Itachi, Hiruzen, and Jiraiya at once. But overall unlikely. However if we assume because Obito didn't get involved originally in the Pain assault, then Kakashi will not, then I see a Pyyhric victory for the Leaf.

This is awesome, however I think if this version of the akatsuki would lose pretty badly to the leaf, especially since kakashi isn’t there with kamui. itachi(he is healthy at this point) is OP, kushina is OP, guy doesn’t need 8th gate and if he were to open it he basically rips through all of them and then you still have jiraya, hiurzen and one eyed shisui. They alone can stop the akatsuki plus the 100s of uchias still there

Maybe Itachi and whoever he has in his susano’o can survive, but everyone else on that list likely gets folded

Correction. Koto has 2 different abilities. One is the 10 year unbreakable one itachi was given. The other Is the breakable one you can use more often they danzo stole.

Obito was manipulating the Uchiha in the years up to the Uchia Coup so Madara likely could have plucked someone like Yashiro if he really needed to (not that it undermines the timeline altogether, but he is not inherently lacking in options).
Kakashi might not be compatible with Hashirama's cells as they might just overpower him as they did to Danzō eventually. Mitsuki when he just had one splinter containing Hashirama cells enter his body was essentially poisoned and nearly died. Uchiha seem to be able to handle it better.
Sage Mode's added durability seems to be far beyond the level of durability of a Zetsu arm. Sage Mode Naruto who would be much weaker than Sage Mode Minato could toss a giant rhinoceroses and send it flying. Minato's arm might survive his own Rasengan.
Kushina originally planned on dying with Kurama before Mianto intervened. If Minato was not there she likely would get to Kurama before Fugaku and just die.
Orochimaru did not leave Konoha until two years after Minato's death, though I imagine Hiruzen would still became Hokage before he would.
Danzō's arm is not made of Uchiha, it is made from Shin. He actually had the arm before the massacre.
The Reverse Four Symbols Sealing is not manually activated. It activates automatically when the user is about to die. Danzō would also already have Shin's arm by this point. Also considering Danzō would likely have Root as back-up, difficult to say how the fight would go.
Hiruzen might be outvoted by the two remaining councilmen and still push the Uchiha out of the village if he became Hokage after Fugaku.
Team 7 was formed both to keep an eye on the Kyūbi host alongside Sasuke and to balance out traits. Considering Kushina would still be alive, Naruto would neither be a host nor nearly as lacking, so it is unlikely it would be formed with the same line-up.
Naruto only had the uneven seal when Orochimaru placed the Five-Pronged Seal on it. He otherwise the seal did not unbalance his chakra, and in fact the seal was what gave him his heightened amounts of stamina. Id est, he might not be able to use the Hiraishin on his own without it.
Kushina on her own might be able to overpower most of the Akatsuki considering Karin's inferior Vajra Chains could demolish Guruguru's Lotus King which was stalemating the Gokage, Mifune, and others. Kurama might also elect to help Kushina as he did against Madara during the war to avoid getting enthralled again.
Kakashi was only a jōnin for a year or less by the time Rin died and it is unclear if he even led any teams after the Kakashi Regiment fell apart.
The Akatsuki were not hunting bijū until after they had collected enough funds shortly before Part II, Pain only sent Itachi to Konoha because it was an auspicious opportunity with how weakened it was. They actually put up capturing the Kyūbi until last otherwise since the Gedō Mazō will collapse if it not put in last. Not certain they would really bother investing so many resources into the invasion under these circumstances.
Shortly after Konoha falls the other nations would likely band together for their own security. Essentially a Fourth Shinobi World War come early.

Killing Kakuzo so early would dismantle The Akatski. He was in charge of bringing the money in, not just for the war but to pay the the other SS members of the team.
Also, if the Uchihas where around and accepted most of them will train harder because of Fugaku, the first Uchiha to become a Kage. They would most likely train harder and, takinng Boruto into consideration, Uchihas can awaken the MS by love. Imagine being put on a corner all your life and suddenly the gate are open and villagers start accepting them.
Fighting for love, in the Naruto verse, is stronger than hate hence most of the Uchiha's will be unstoppable machines. Said by Tobirama the Uchiha loce is far stronger than anyone else. Noe imagine an army of Uchihas fighting for love and having Itachi on their side.
Plus, they needed to capture the tail beasts in order to make the ten tails husk awake the Beast.

Yeah I think the issue I was running into when looking at the matchup was how much more talented Kakashi was than Obito, so if Obito made it even relatively close Kakashi should be able to close the deal. The only issue I see with this is that I think during Kakashi's assault on the Leaf, Itachi would turn on the Akatsuki to save Sasuke. I still think he'd end up dying but in the process would keep Sasuke alive as his main priority with Orochimaru still stealing his body. This could then create an interesting dynamic where everything else still unfolds but Sasuke has the MS after watching the Leaf fall and Orochimaru with an MS (which I feel like was a little understated in this video) and edo tensi roaming the world. Orochimaru would definitely be against the Akatsuki's world domination plan and Sasuke might train in hiding with some remaining Leaf cells to take revenge on Kakashi after Itachi's death because he would lose purpose. So I don't think it'd be that clear cut.
My problem with kakashi’s kamui compared to obitos is when obito sends someone to kamui he goes into it later and kills/genjustu’s them. For kakashi if he sends them there whole he can’t really kill them or preventing them from escaping somehow if that’s remotely possible. I mean I suppose he can eject them into a volcano later. It feels like an incomplete jutsu compare to obito’s.

Amazing story, I wacht to the end, I really like it. I think you spend a lot of Time working to creat it. I think this could have happen in Naruto if Kakashi was the main character. But, in mind my mind Kakashi is a good Guy. I don't want to see him become Bad and become the 10 tail jinchuriki. I want him to be happy with Obito, rin, Minato and team 7. I don't like our ending. All things considered, I dont think that Kakashi would have been able to put Kurama under Genjutsu. Also dont think he would have passed himself as Madara, his hair and abilities were too standout for him. He would not have been as bloody but colder as a killer than Obito, and less cunning xd. All in all probably much more efective when realizing the plans for the beasts capture. Obitos ego played a huge role in all events and if you remove Itachi of the equation Naruto and the leaf would be much easier targets. I like your idea of Itachi teaching the next generation, but I believe as good as things could be, Sasuke would never have the same conviction he did when seeking revenge and would never get out of his brothers shadow. Itachi would still have to die to let Sasuke shine
Yeah my only push back would be Kakashi’s genjutsu should be on par with Obito’s since he countered Obito’s genjutsu, despite Obito having Hashirama cells amping his sharingan. Also, I think Kakashi would just dye his hair, and he’s definitely more cunning than Obito. Other than that, all solid 🔥

I don't agree at all with the way in which he joins the Akatsuki. I think it is more believable that, based on his past and his experience in Anbu, his depression and grief would drive him further and further into darkness and eventually decides to join the Akatsuki to end it all/save the world.
I essentially wanted to make this a video where I see how things would’ve turned out had he been placed in Obito’s shoes tbh

itachi had the ideals on the level of a kage as a kid. and had the ambitions to gain power and change things himself. with the clan being respected by the village that ambition needs a place to go. wouldnt his kage level thinking make him train the genin better, he completed it by himself. as a younger kid. the standard of shinobi could go up. l@@sageofthickcalves

Kakashi is able to teleport in and out of the Kamui dimension with just his left eye in the war arc. The only thing the left eye does differently is allow for the phasing aspect. Both eyes allow for teleportation in and out of Kamui.
If Sakura became mid-high kage level when she gained the Byakugou seal, when did she reach Jonin kevel?
She’s probably low-Jonin level in the Sasori fight

I think Itachi would not only focus on Sasuke if he knows that Sakura is left alone. He would've not been as negligent as Kakashi was.

He saw she had an astonishing control of her chakra and he did... nothing with it. He always overprotected her without thinking it would be more productive to teach like idk how to defend herself? He was negligent and favored Sasuke (and Naruto) because he saw himself in him.

His focus was always trying to get them to work as a team early on, and never trained any of them individually until the final round of the Chunin exams. You’re acting like he was coaching up Naruto and Sasuke with some secret sauce that he was withholding from Sakura. Look at every other team at that time. Did ANY of the other squad leaders teach all of their students something valuable for combat? Guy heavily favored Lee and taught the rest of his team nothing. There’s no evidence Kurenai taught anyone on her squad anything. Asuma just sat back and guided teamwork (just like Kakashi) because Ino-Shika-Cho was already a pre-developed combination. I understand Kakashi could’ve done better, but acting like he a) was subpar compared to his peers or b) was teaching Naruto and Sasuke monumental things that he just withheld from Sakura are just blatantly incorrect.
Guy 6th and 7th gate would win against Pain - if he does not start using the big “almighty push” from the start. And I don’t think he would considering they want the Kushina. And even if the Six pains are linked, I don’t think they would move or react fast enough to counter hus speed. 6th-7th gate Guy would do a great job against many of the High teir apponents. If he uses the 5-6th gate from the start, he would be able to use it for a longer time. Remember how fast he fucked up Kisame with the 7th gate as well.
And what about a none sick Itachi (from not spamming his mangekyou sharingan) would also fuck up many of the Akatski up with his genjustu and almost unbeatable Susanoo.
Just these two guys would do a lot of damage to the high ranked akatski. Then a army of Uchiha and Hyuga… It is not that clear cut to defeat the leaf village IMO.

@@CasperRiecke Guy in 6th Gate isn’t able to overpower or outspeed Kisame. 6th Gate Guy is also relative to Kakashi’s raikiri speed, which Pain directly reacts to. You may be able to make an argument for 7th Gate Guy, but definitely not 6th.
If I remember correctly (I made this video forever ago so idk), I don’t have the uchiha massage happening in this timeline, so Itachi would be significantly weaker. We know hatred amps uchiha, and the massacre definitely filled Itachi with a massive amount of hate, so it reasons that no massacre = weaker Itachi. He also genuinely wouldn’t have any way to deal with Kakashi’s dual Kamui.
Again, 6th Gate Guy isn’t doing anything to Pain.
Jiraiya and Tsunade weren’t in the village during Konoha Crush. Jiraiya arrived at the very end, but Konoha Crush is what led them to go find Tsunade.
i dont think madara would've picked kakashi to be his right hand man because he needed someone vulnerable an easy to manipulate which kakashi just isnt that you could argue that yes it was a terrible thing he's gone thru but the only thing that pushed him over the edge was when he lost everyone an thats why he listened to Danzo an joined the root foundation because they have a ruthless reputation an they empower the disenfranchised of the hidden leaf an give them a means to hold some actual power in their life but kakashi was skeptical after having joined an ultimately he switched sides because he still had morality in his heart he wasn't just a ruthless indoctrinated killing machine like the other foundation members many of which grew up at a very young age within its ranks as they were orphans of the wars that Danzo forced into being his soldiers.
but i could see Madara grooming Sasuke into the role of his second in command especially given what happens to him the promise of ultimate power to sasuke would be an incredibly strong motivator for him to not only destroy the village that caused his clan's descent but also vilified his loving older brother turning him into a murderer.
Sasuke's akatsuki would be an interesting thing to see at that not only would it include nagato, konan, and zetsu but i think orochimaru would join up as well which could extend to suigetsu being a member too.

Why wouldn’t madara just go after itachi? Uchiha by blood with genius only rivaled by Minato. Planting seeds of doubt in his mind while he’s experiencing dilemma between his village and his clan. Not only that, itachi has seen death at 4 and madara could persuade him that they could end the suffering. And narratively, it would make more sense because itachi has the tsukuyomi, while madaras goal is to cast the infinite tsukuyomi. It never made sense to me how itachi’s eyes were never sought after and how madara can cast infinite tsukuyomi when tsukuyomi is itachi’s ability. Guess it’s a retcon from itachi supposed to be the actual villain

I did read the one shot. I also read the war arc when Kakashi was keeping pace with KCM Minato and outpacing 8th Gate Guy with his Kamui speed. Add Hashirama cells on top of that and he’s definitely too powerful for Minato. But to your last point, yes, all what if videos are in fact pure fan fic. That’s the idea.

Adult Kakashi couldn't even solo Yahiko/Pain. He lost; he died, Pain revived him.
He is the literal top of A-tier, as an adult. His power level scales to below Jiraiya, who is bottom of S-tier. Minato when he died was high S-tier (top 8).
Adult Kakashi was sweating on the idea of fighting Orochimaru; he is a low to mid-tier Akatsuki member, at best, as an adult. One-shotted by Itachi; smh.
FFS, Madara just walked up on him, palmed in his face and snatched his eye out of the socket. Kakashi never made the S-tier until he was given Obito's chakra.
He doesn't even have an Uchiha or Uzumaki body, he would have a high chance of rejecting Hashirama cells and would need a medical-nin to even try this. None of this makes any sense.

It’s like two people running a race and one gets a head start but still loses. His Kamui is undeniably faster than Guy’s combat speed. He also sniped a rasengan out of KCM1 Naruto’s hand and even a full KCM2 Naruto clone, both while Naruto was moving at full speed. These even perception blitzed Rinnegan Obito. There’s just not a single legitimate argument against these feats.
