Well done! Having taken a pause from LEGO during this period, it was entertaining to learn about the Power Miners lore and fascinating to see the theme's first sets from 2009.
You kinda forgot one thing: in Clutch Powers movie there's orange version of Crystal King and it also revealed that rock monsters born as big crystals.
This was one of my favorite series outside of BIONICLE and LEGO Star Wars during this time period. I still have my Thunder Driller but not the Rock Monster 😥The Power Miner comic was sick too haha
When the world went through the global financial crisis, LEGO was on top of their game. Perhaps RR slugger should watch this video. Hardcore rock raiders fans aren’t as hot about power miners. Even though I don’t own any of these sets I have nostalgia looking at them in catalogues
LEGO really blessed us with so many great properties at such a terrible time. I'll be honest, I think Power Miners clears Rock Raiders in every category. I only had a couple myself but they killed it with the advertising. From the commercials, to the LEGO club comics, or the other branding included in the magazines, LEGO did a great job at marketing this line-up. as always, Thanks for sharing your thoughts Mayo
