    Dungeons & Dragons theme has a kind melancholy feel to it. As a kid I used to yearn for it. Great storylines where you actually care about the characters. Excellent.

    Man I just love these old 80's Cartoons, I was born in 1982, and When i was living in Canton, South Dakota, I used to sit in front of the Tv in the living room of The Farmhouse, and just watch these old 80's cartoon shows every weekday and saturday morning, Kid's today don't even know what Good Cartoons shows are, They're missing these old 80's Cartoon shows, they're way better then today's cartoon shows, including sponngebob squarepants and Mickey Mouse.

    2:09 “It’s Punky Brewster” intro and outro both remind me of the song “Ambitions” sung by Donkeyboy.

    Whatever show that is at 5:47 looks EXACTLY like the credits to Berenstain Beara. Same blue background, same yellow font, everything. Did Hanna Barabara's Australian unit use those credits io everything they did?

    Guys i need your help here... I remember bits and pieces of a late 80s early 90s cartoon but dont have much to go on. I could even have two different cartoons mixed into one..lol. The ending credits had a character kinda dancing and doing cart wheels across the sceen and the lyrics said: living living living in the century ...living... (i think) if anyone can help it would be much appreciated

    • @Mister80Retro
      @Mister80Retro  7 лет назад +2

    • @Mister80Retro
      @Mister80Retro  7 лет назад +2

      Really? It's that exact song during the credits... except the character just bounces and doesn't do cartwheels. If you find out, let me know because now I'm curious! lol

    @DimeraFan28 Amen to that! I was born in 1981 and kids these days don't know what good cartoons are. They have to deal with trash like Family Guy which blasphemes God, instead of G.I. Joe and the Real Ghostbusters which taught kids ethics and life lessons respectably.

  • @megagrey
    @megagrey 11 лет назад +1

    I caught Spongebob a couple times while channel-flipping. Actually seemed pretty clever. Hardly the worst thing for kids to watch.
    Believe it or not, I actually ENVY kids these days. Things like My Little Pony FiM, Transformers Prime and Turtles 2003 are infinitely superior to the versions I had as a kid in the 80s, in every conceivable way.

    what is it with kids these days? they should be watching cartoons like these and not craptastic teeny-bopper sitcoms, or poor excuses for cartoons which must depend on bland subplots and low-grade humor such as toilet humor (i.e. any nickelodeon cartoon which is on tv now), or underwear related comedy (which Spongebob is too full of)
