My contingency says nothing about the deductible they’ll pay. The only thing ours basically says is that if we get their claim approved, regardless of how much we get them, we are their chosen contractor.
Hey Adam, i agree, when we joined the program we actually reworded the contingency form to cover ourselves from any confusion on the homeowners obligation. Good information to share!
Hey Hey! I think they still can have their place and play an important role in a healthy understanding of the process, and ensuring that you get started on the right foot. But I understand why you chose to do that, and so long as it's working well for you!
So I get a contingency agreement. However, I can't reach an agreement with the insurance company.Home owner tells me I owe him a roof based on the insurance proceed because no supplements were approved. What do you teach about that?
Not necessarily, you just have to bridge the gap with the homeowner to have them understand that their policy might not exactly cover it 100% even if it gets fully approved. Helps to also have some knowledge and knowing how to read the actual policy so you know what to expect and you can explain it to them knowledgeably and fully transparent

You set the wrong expectation. The goal is to get insurance to discount the cost of a new roof
So does the days of making a lot of money being in sales go away with things going towards ACV?
