I just don't think I will ever be able to wrap my mind around how they have always been exceptional, and yet somehow they evolve and improve as artists anyway. I guess there is just no limit for them. LOVED your reaction. Kevin definitely steals the show on this one, but all the leads were so soulful and delicious! Matt is singing lead more and more, which I love, (I look forward to some solo work from him), and Scott put out a solo album and got married and somehow managed to take all that confidence and joy and blow the top off vocals that have always been insane. Kirstie didn't get much feature in this, but she is so solid and integral to the arrangement, and her belt gives me shivers. Her confidence and joy has only gone up since her stint on Broadway, becoming a mom and getting engaged. She is sitting square in her power, and I hope now that they are taking a few months off touring, she might do more solo work. My heart belongs to Mitch, though. There is something about the timbre of his voice that sinks directly into the cells of my body and heals them. His solo releases this year were SO good, and he really seems to thrive on tour, which they have basically been doing non stop for a year. I expect more PTX original songs this year and I can't wait! The Lucky Ones was so good, I just can't imagine what they will come up with next!
That was great!! I've seen the video about a hundred times now and love watching the look of shock on a reactor's face and then they back up and watch it again. The group has definitely levelled up...yet again! They put out O Holy Night re-mix this Christmas and it's awesome. They'd done it years ago with Avi, but decided to re-make it and Matt has a large part of the lead in it...sorry, no Kevin singing in it....and it's just wonderful. This group had been growing and exploring for the last few years and it shows. Other fairly new stuff: I Rise Creep ( Radiohead cover) was done for The Masked Singer. They entered as The California Rolls and were giant sushi rolls. They did about 5 songs, masked, and lost at the semi-finals, so did Creep unmasked as their outro song. You can find all the songs they did from The masked Singer channel or check around for a compilation of them all. Also, their recent Christmas concerts have Kevin showing off doing his falsetto part of Mary Did You Know.His singing has definitely improved!!
If you haven't yet, you should check out their cover of Creep after they were unmasked on The Masked Singer! It was amazing. That gave me goosebumps also.

That was Kevin. He joined the group when Avi found a RUclips video of him "celloboxing". He has performed solos at Carnegie Hall, once with his cello and again on saxophone. While they are all almost otherworldly in their talent, Kevin is the most multi-talented.

Plus Scott takes 30 seconds in the beginning to tell you how they found Kevin. It is hilarious. He could be a comedian if he wasn't singing.

Kevin might be an advanced human from the future sent back to show us our potential. Or Kevin could be the DaVinci of our time. Kevin is such a true genius and a musical genius. He has so many talents in him I can't believe he hasn't self-combusted. Can play multiple instruments, sing, beatbox, write, compose, speaks multiple languages, perfect pitch, as if that wasn't enough, he was pre-med at Yale. He is also a humble and wonderful human.
Maybe when he is done making music, he can become a Nobel Laureate after curing cancer and brokering world peace.

Have you ever watched "intro to matt sallee"? It gives you so much background on him including he would mow yards while listening to ptx to try to figure out how he could be the 6th member. He sings a lot in it too. I would love for you do it as a reaction bc so many people dont know his backstory. But if not please at least watch it.

That was Kevin. He joined the group when Avi found a RUclips video of him "celloboxing". He has performed solos at Carnegie Hall, once with his cello and again on saxophone. While they are all almost otherworldly in their talent, Kevin is the most multi-talented.

If you want Kevin and Matt you MUST react to Kevin's Fifth. It is a segment of their concert that is just Kevin....Matt joins him on stage and believe it or not, Matt's playing the drums!!! It is amazing! You hear from Scott how Kevin came to be part of the group as he introduces Kevin yo the stage. Kevin is pure fire! (He even has a choreographed dance in it.) I will post the link. So I saw the short version, but not this long version. I don't know how well that would go with a react perse, but maybe? I'll figure out which one to use. But REGARDLESS, I definitely want to react to it before fully watching so stay tuned. :)
@@TheBlackSpeed The short version cuts out the good stuff and just plays the main song. The long version explains the song plus shows Kevin doing his "Cello-Boxing". You won't understand the short version without seeing the long version. It's just a few minutes longer...hard to put into words. Basically you need to see the whole thing for it to make sense. Plus Scott takes 30 seconds in the beginning to tell you how they found Kevin. It is hilarious. He could be a comedian if he wasn't singing.
