    At the end when you put the battery in and tested it. It sounds like it was still scratching. Im having the same problem. How did you manage to fix it? Thanks

      Honestly I don't remember, but I think it was some melted plastic on housing inside where armature fan spins

      Thank you, I use engine cleaner with water in ultrasonic cleaner, but mose of the time its universal car cleaner and brake cleaner with a brush

      Ideal thank you. When the gears go what actually needs replacing? Everything looks fine in mine but not spinning on the nuts just screaming

      Yes, if you will need to replace all this parts in service then is cheaper to buy new tool. All parts for me cost around 80 euros not counting grease and my work...

    My impact wrench has lost power behind it. It still turns but cannot loosen or tighten a bolt. Sounds scratchy too. What could it be?

      Do it have burning smell? If yes its motor, otherwise it can be gears

    so all you have saved from the old gun is the motor,the trigger and some wiring....may as well just buy a whole new gun
