Thank you for the review. Most reviews don’t include food prep tests. Awesome to see the knife does such a good job.

Nice review. Thank you. Mine was 66$👍🏼🔪. thank you for not having obnoxiously loud and unnecessary "theme music" and blathering on like an insecure radio personality. Much appreciated. Too much of that for my liking in this genre of knife/bushcraft/outdoor survival/prepper types of channels that do reviews. And you seem to produce your videos in nature rather than a studio setting. Also valued and appreciated. Instant follow!
I did get the multi mount kit that includes another sheath and a security snap that can be modded with the belt dangler to use both simultaneously. (another channel provided me with the idea.) Nice option to just take the knife out of your belt sheath and throw it another sheath already mounted on a pack's molle attachment. 😎

Thanks for the positive words! I found out shortly after posting this video that I can use the Kansbol sheath with survival kit with the Garberg. I really like how a lot of Mora's sheaths and knives are interchangeable. They've got it figured out for sure.

Brother I have been really tossing around getting this bad boy. These Mora knives are bringing it. I am loving my companion

The rubber handle is not so durable. The Garberg handle will outlive us.

The lack of finger guard bothers me. The steel and treat is good quality. Have the Kansbol and its great, but thin tip is a pro and con depending on task. Have carefully cut some of the handle to deepen the finger guard. But that weakens it slightly, in theory, so wouldnt do it to Garberg.

There is enough finger guard in my opinion. Definitely more than a traditional puukko style.

As long as you don't use it for stabbing it's fine. And if you did all you have to do is put your thumb over the pommel. You won't need a guard. It's better to learn how to use a knife without one imo

@@Darrenski I have learnt loads (am late 40s!) But the lack of guard is not great, I have Garberg too now. It would only be an issue in wet, tired, under pressure but both knives can cut a finger deep! But does help with detailed tasks. I have improvised a cord loop with a steel ring, doubles as lanyard, steel ring 'arrests' finger off blade if needed. Am glad it's there just in case.

I have been considering the Beavercraft camp axe. Looks good quality for the price.

Steel is too soft on those, If they were 1095 they would be awesome

Garberg is full tang not stick tang and is 100 times better than a buck 119
