Which RC Jimny is BEST?

The Suzuki Jimny is one of my favorite Kei trucks, but being the JDM legend that it is, I can only afford to build it in 1/10th Scale. The RGT Jimny RC Crawler, the FMS 1/12 scale crawler, and the Kyosho Mini Z 4x4 are put to the test on this episode of 10th Scale Garage.
These budget spec RC crawlers are all good at different things, but all three are super fun to drive.

I liked the in between size of the FMS , but I wish they offered an array of earthy colors. Thanks for covering all the bases regarding the rc Suzuki Jimney!🤘🏻😁👍🏻

On the stock transmitter, there's a setting for drag brake on the 136100v3. Works fine for me, full lock on 100% 🤷‍♂️😁

Gotta love a Jimny. I have the Xiaomi 1/16th Jimny (was like 35 bucks when I bought it). Originally controlled from a phone or tablet via bluetooth. Has light buckets and all that, but no lights. Looks really nice, but is pretty horrible to drive with your phone. I replaced the bluetooth esc thing with a better esc and a full light kit (just over 10 bucks on AliExpress) and now run it with my FlySky radio. Still not a great performer, but decent with a few upgrades.

I have the rgt 136100 Ford bronco body 1st edition of this crawler I believe and I've had a few years with same 380 motor but with HW 1080 ESC one of my favorite crawlers.

With the original controller you can actually turn the halo off an normal headlights on. How I did it, dunno, just tried til I got lucky 😂😂😂. But it's possible.

Even in the RC world, there's a lot of FTX cars I'd like to have. A lot of them are offered rebadged as something else, but I'm yet to find a Zorro or DR8

My RC Defender is cheaper and more reliable than the real thing. We run Suzukis - our extended family have too - but the latest models have skyrocketed in price, we'll have to ride atop of their RC counterparts too soon😳😳🙄🙄

They drive smoother than any other 24th scale trucks., and their bodies are super detailed compared to an axial scx24
