I've been to universal twice now and i haven't yet been on this ride, but after watching the video, im kind of glad. I feel like seeing those animatronics live would give me serious nightmares.
This ride has become underrated IMO, it’s pretty well themed, I’ve seen it with a 60 minute wait before during xmas once, 20 minutes is the highest I’ve seen it once.
It's the kind of ride that you typically see at Disney more than Universal. It has more animitronics and fantasy and much less thrill than a typical Universal ride. It's definitely a personal preference thing. I happen to like both types (this is actually one of my favorites) but I understand why some don't. Thank you for your comment and thanks for stopping by!
Sadly it’s aging badly. It no longer spins. They’re having trouble getting parts, the animatronics desperately need a refurb. At some point they are going to need to gut it and put in something new or replace the whole ride system with a modern trackless one.
@@thethemeparkchannel2848 Universal does seem to be moving more towards the Disney type experience rides over the pure thrill rides as they get ever better at “Imagineering” things. While their newer rides do still have a harder edge, I don’t know how many things like the Hulk Coaster they will build. I think they are moving more towards very unique experience rides like Hagrid’s, and less 6 flags type thrill coasters.
When I went on this ride many years ago with my sister and grandmother, I loved it so much that we kept going on it over and over again. On top of that, it kept breaking down, so it got to the point where I was able to repeat everything they said on the ride lol.
In 2014 the ride had complaints about the passengers havingmotion sickness during the spinning sequences so they had to toned down the vehicles so that the couch did not spin quite as much
0:10 I can tell thats the B-mode version of One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish. The B-mode version means that you do not get soaked, the squirters are turned off.

But in recent years it’s been running purely in “B” mode to put less stress on the ride mechanisms and vehicles. The manufacturer went under years ago and they are running out of parts. Anything that breaks they have to either get lucky finding it somewhere in the world or remanufacture the needed part by hand.

Wow, that is funny because it's one of my favorite Dr. Seuss films, also I found out the information of Dr. Seuss The Cat in The Hat (2024) From the Warner Animation Group Films like The Lego Movie, Scoob! & Space Jam: A New Legacy, and Dr. Seuss most Timeless Classic Story, Dr. Seuss' The Cat in the Hat will prove that some days that are Funny. On a Rainy day when The 2 Kid's mother left for the Day, They did nothing but wishing they find something to do, until the Cat in the Hat arrived with Thing 1 and 2 to give them some good games until things got chaotic and now they are making a hug mess, so with the help of their fish, they must find a way to stop their chaotic fun, and clean up their mess before Mother comes back.

I believe that one is a replacement too, the original one had more black lines , and the different books on his hand so I assume the original one broke. Even the replacement isn’t working as good as it was in this video.
