It’s actually really good, it’s cute and such a classic. Age doesn’t immediately mean bad. Just look at E.T, such a charming and good ride and it’s 30+ years old.
Just realized how cool the projections and lights are in this ride. The lights turn on as you enter the room, and I think it adds a cool charm to the ride. I also love how at the end, there’s tiny lights to add a magical effect. It’s cool! The projections add a lot to the ride, making the climax even more chaotic. This is one of the best ride adaptations I’ve seen, it tells the story so well, and adds to it as well! YOU CAN EVEN SEE THE KID’S REACTIONS IN THE PICTURES! HOW COOL IS THAT???
I enjoyed riding this when I first came to the park in July 2018!! Can’t wait to ride this again and record the ride experience for my channel in a couple weeks!!
I don’t understand why people are calling this ride terrible. This ride literally fits alongside rides like Mr. Toads Wild Ride and Pinocchio at Disneyland

I believe the cat animatronics you see today are not original. Did some deep researching and compared older videos to newer ones and the videos from 2008-2015/2016ish showed cat animatronics with different color schemes and features. The cat with the books and cake on its head is different than the original , the original looked more cartoony and not cursed and had a different book setup in his right hand, looks like they forgot to paint the one you see now correctly. The one above the boxes also looks more white than the original, and the one at the end on the car thing and the one who comes out the door in the beginning looks different a bit, the eyebrows on those 2 are thinner than the original and also have different color lines and head shapes. My 3 guesses and all are related to the manufacturer, as the manufacturer of the animatronics AVG productions went out of business in the 2000s. 1. The originals worn down and was replaced with the ones you see today by a new company and just isn’t as good as the originals. 2. They had spare animatronics in storage in case the originals broke. 3. They gave the cats new skin and fixed some of the internals. I’m leaning towards 1 or 2.

I had a panic attack on this ride, it scared the living crap out of me. I hate animatronics, and mixed with the subtle jumpscares and dark lighting, i was screaming and swearing, i was so scared
