I love this ride. I remember always seeing the universal commercials on tv when I was little, and when I was 9 I finally got to go. This was the first ride I went on as a kid and it will always hold a special place in my heart. I always ride it first every trip I go on now lol.
This is actually a pretty fun ride and there is so much going on during the ride that its hard to catch it all on camera. You did a great job on this video. I rode this less than a week ago and they did put the spins back into the ride since they added the netting on all the ride vehicles.

Last year, my bag swing out if the car while we we're spinning, and I didn't realize until I got off and they had to shut the ride down to get my bag out of the tracks lol my bag was ruined but my kindle and my money was ok. ( I had also lost my phone at the beginning of the day on the x men storm ride :P) I learned my lesson

Thankfully they toned down the spinning a lot in recent years and I don't really get creeped out by the things anymore so I go on this every time I go to island's of adventure from now on.
I'm amazed that this ride is still up!! I've only been to Universal once when I was seven (the year was 2001) and I remember loving the spinning couch, but finding the robotic figures creepy. Still, this ride does a better job of re-enacting the book than the movie. I know the Nickelodeon stuff is gone, so I'm happy Seuss Landing is still alive and well (:

oooo! i LOVE this ride! i used to go there every winter with my parents and my brother. from before 1st grade (maybe before kindergarden?) to 5th is how many years i went there. i still wanna go back again :( but it'd be hard now that i'm in 8th grade :c
this is a good ride, which is made even better if you manage to bring your 3D glasses from the HHN 3D houses, wear them, since there are some sections in Black Light which makes the colors stand out.
